None of the Bluetooth headphones I tried were much good, losing connection when leaving the room or going outdoors. I've got unbranded cordless headphones with paired RF transmitter which have a much longer range. The RF transmitter has to be plugged into the audio source (my desktop PC).

I can recommend Privacy Badger for Firefox, it blocks almost all adverts but is not specifically an ad-blocker. Most websites that use anti-adblock measures don't detect Privacy Badger as an ad-blocker either.
