The *final* JagoandLitefoot: "Jago andLitefoot Forever" dropped yesterday... https://www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/jago-litefoot-forever-1781 (I have not heard it yet) Like the doctor *him*self, I hate endings... And predict myself being very sad when I finally get around to listening to...
I've been listening to the JagoandLitefoot audios recently, and they are quickly becoming favorites of mine... to the point where I am extremely saddened to know Trevor Baxter (Litefoot) died last year, and thus there won't be any more after i get to a certain point... :(
So yeah, Current Doctor Who is still awful... But I still recommend the Big Finish JagoandLitefoot Adventures line... I stopped halfway describing them last time, but the entire 13+ series' of it are still spectacular.... And the first episode is still free if you make an account on the Big...
Worst part of that is we are now robbed of the inevitable full crossover between JagoandLitefootand the Paternoster gang that would have come from it. (Strax actually DID cross over with JagoandLitefoot, oddly enough)
I don't actually *like* the paternoster gang- Vastra is a flat out...
I've been sperging out about JagoandLitefoot again recently, and I realized it's been ages since I last watched Talons of Weng Chiang, (and at the time I didn't even really appreciate it because this was before I got into the spinoff)
So I'm watching it all in its entirety tonight.
I might...
Heh... Funny/sad enough... I am currently listening to the final ( :( ) JagoandLitefoot audio, probably ever... and despite being audio, the previous episode featured a giant rat... (It made sense in this context though, as it was a legit call back to Talons of Weng Chiang..)
We also lost Trevor Baxter who played Professor Litefoot in the episode "The Talons of Weng Chiang" and starred in the spin-off Big Finish audio series JagoandLitefoot.
I gave JagoandLitefoot Forver a second listen through and I liked it significantly more the second time around.
The story itself is still fairly insubstantial, harmless fluff really... (Which makes sense, considering one of the two leads is reduced to fairly non-specific stock audio clips.)...
Decided to watch The Talons of Weng-Chiang (the single televised appearance of JagoandLitefoot) tonight, for the first time since I listened to the audios... I've tried a few times before, and for whatever reason couldn't get through it.
I'm actually loving it now... One of the main villains...
...that's going to be changing any time soon), I decided to return to something Who-related I actually like love- In this case, the JagoandLitefoot Big Finish series.
I've sperged on a bit about JagoandLitefoot before, but I really can't recommend it highly enough to any other disillusioned...

JagoandLitefoot Series 14. I don't know where the fuck this came from (It's coming out in the next few weeks and this is the first I've heard of it), and I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about it.
On the one...
...(This apparently takes place before they met properly, so it wouldn't really make sense for Litefoot to be there) but I'm always happy to see Christopher Benjamin. Really, this just makes me wish we could get more JagoandLitefoot. (I wouldn't mind seeing Benjamin get his own series actually.)
...see you say this before I made my previous post, but yeah... if you're looking for peak Big Finish, you really should check out JagoandLitefoot.
13 series' which all have 4 episodes each. And that isn't even counting the backdoor pilot...
You should have just said this, I don't even disagree.
You're right not *every* box set has been great, but I never said that... But when they hit the mark, they hit the mark. JagoandLitefoot is still literally my favorite piece of Doctor Who, and that was all almost entirely box sets.
...It was both the 6th Doctor regeneration story we deserved, AND the one we needed right now. It even found a way to bring in JagoandLitefoot (which I have made my love for very clear here already). I'd even say if you consider all 4 episodes to be one story, it is my all time favorite...
...From the last story you heard, I'm going to assume you're a Master fan.
Right around the time you stopped listening, JagoandLitefoot crossed paths with the Master. (TBH it was one of the weaker J&L sets, but still an above average Big Finish release.) I'm not sure I'd call it an ideal...
