Stream in Hindsight: Troll Grief
Good news first. This'll be quick. I have updated www.supergoldenknight.com recently; minor content updates to keep the information current such as the job status in the About page. Also, I have been mentioned on Wikipedia! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_Hi…

Now for the main presentation...

This past stream, on October 3, was a huge multiplayer feature for the fans. It ended with player-vs-player, demonstrating why I do not like player-vs-player. Maybe it is a lack of skill, but the consistency of loss in such matches deprives me of fun. But, I pressed on, with the goals of pleasing the fans. Minecraft, on the other hand, made me feel powerless. That's the most accurate word I can come up with: powerless. Granted it was intentionally about roleplaying, but while there were times that were awkward (like a whole "Where are you" kind of awkward), there has been some fishy activity going on. And like a month ago, good grief ensued. My stream shows my side of the story in unabridged detail. Needless to say, no more multiplayer Minecraft, and any further multiplayer will need to be on more secure servers that have enabled cheat-protection measures.

After the two games, I went to bed. When I woke up, I found a journal in my Deviantart inbox, and it featured a video. And this video describes the menacing presence to a T! It's about "Trolls" and the cyber bullying affiliated with the title. It doesn't matter whether the "Troll" is simply saying off-topic jokes or is an actual hacker using a cyberwarfare platform to break the Minecraft experience for all Twitch to see. But as I watched this video I will end my journal with, I remembered the past months.

I remembered the "kiwi farm", a community gathered around attacking a certain infamous "retard" for an objectively bad idea, the same "kiwi farm" people most of my Twitch viewership consists of (although those in chat tend to at least be nicer). I also remembered the "unofficial wiki sponsored by bullying". Regardless of your intentions, I have reflected on the inner struggles these sites created, and those who hide behind those sites with the mask of "misunderstanding". If you ask me, there is no misunderstanding. Something is clearly wrong. To you people who have created, maintained, and supported such sites, what I want to share with you explains what you are in perfect and elegant detail. This is for you:

So he doesn't really play that much multiplayer...
Not too surprising when you know he doesn't want to learn from his mistakes.

Am wondering if he consider other people playing multiplayer along side him in the same game.
As NPC's or some form of algorithms.

God, now I really wish I could've been there to fuck with him in TF2. I'd round up my boys and we'd just keep going after him relentlessly.

It's great that his excuse as to why he doesn't like multiplayer basically boils down to him admitting he sucks at games in a really roundabout way.

He was dying so quickly I don't think he'd notice if he was being targeted. He would blindly run in front of his team, in a large open area, even after seeing the enemies on the other side. Jay hates MP because he really has no interest in learning to get better. There's no difficulty option to lower or mod to install that will make him good at the game. Jay just wants a slaughter-simulator.

This is the updated part of the About section on supergoldenknight.com

GK said:
As a formal professional, he is a computer technician. He began focus on this path by achieving CompTIA's A+ Certification in January 2014. It was not until July 2014 that he finally achieved employment as a field technician in Washington, D.C. After working for 3 weeks with trying to meet 5-8 calls per day, he concluded this expectation is unrealistic, and he felt compelled to leave and take a break from employment. Finally, in October 2014, he has begun part-time work for the prestigious Geek Squad in Bowie, MD.

Glad to see he's finally realized that we're basically the entirety of his audience. It would have been funny to see him get his ego built up, then pull the rug out from underneath him, but his streams are way too damn boring for that to have been feasible.

Jay alternates between making me want to hit him, pity him for the desire to hit him, hit myself for having the capacity to have the pity out of the desire to hit him, and pulling the Commander Stryker maneuver.

Well that panned out as expected...

I can't sit through these streams for long just because he's so dull and his voice annoys me so much. The pitch, the accent, the goofy patterns... all of it just makes me want to turn it off. I'm also still annoyed that he listens to Sabaton.

An observation: Jay can't into tactics. Probably because he can't understand the "NPCs" he's fighting against are capable of more than just Ork-tier tactics.

I've found from experience that the best streams for Jay are where he's engaged and having fun, and challenged, but not ridiculously so. Part of him wants to expand beyond the usual, and it's having trouble.

Really, that's the only way to ensure that people want to watch and that he'll participate. He's at his most entertaining when he's on an ego trip and we get a look at his thought processes, opinions, and the like. What's tricky is finding a way to accomplish both.

Four words:

Super Amazing Wagon Adventure.

There is no way that this game WILL NOT result in at least 20 minutes of hilarity. Jay will love it, it'll be genuinely entertaining, and the game is hard but fair.
