I think Phil wants Tommy back in his life. He keeps going on about his social isolation and Tommy was one of his last IRL friends to actually put up with him for extended periods of time.

I think Phil wants Tommy back in his life. He keeps going on about his social isolation and Tommy was one of his last IRL friends to actually put up with him for extended periods of time.

As I said before those two have been more than just friends in the past, I'm not saying it was full on night of the ogers but awquard fumbles etc yea, but we are not getting the full story of fig gate either. Tommy was the closest thing he's ever had to a real friend or willing sexual partner and whatever passes for emotions in his brain is starting to feel the empty void of companionship an a warm body.
