I tried to read but I have no idea what's actually going on.

What I can say is that I'm pretty excited to see where this will go, and that's nice to see Sonichu could still contain action scenes.
After the coming out, I was worried it would become 100% slice of life.

please don't take him away from Chris this time. The more characters this comic has the merrier (and more autistic) it gets.

Some people say that we live in a world where Chris isn't deluded about having millions of unironic Sonichu anymore, yet here he is thinking that there's people out there who are going to be interested and thrilled to learn out that one of his characters has the middle name Samantha.

It looks like he's focusing on a new plot, with whatever the heck is going on here, that's going to be much more uninteresting than the last pages that focused solely on himself, so that's a little disappointing. Sonichu always falls off the rails and becomes like any other dull fan fiction when he removes himself from the story.

Also, did Simonchu even there or do anything originally? I thought it was just the Asperchu Five, aka non comic book character people who were trolling Chris by giving him a free website that conspired to murder Simonla, not the fanart he stole to make her.

Stand back... let the person who has spent WAAAAY too much of their time understanding the Sonichu mythos (which makes it sound a helluva more important than it ever will be) to explain what is going on... maybe.

So, the character of Simonla was ripped-off inspired by a "fan" character Simonchu created by Evan...

Hi Simon. So, what happened is Chris- without permission from Evan, ripped off Simonchu to create Simonla, mostly because Wild still needed a fuckbuddy.

Because of this, the Sonichu "fandom" rose up and confornted Chris about it, hence is why Simonla was killed with a Voltorb...

...until apparently the retcon, where not only is Simonla still alive, but apparently 1) Simonchu exists in this reality; and 2) Apparently Da Twolls were using Simonchu's apparent expertise in explosive to kill his sister... for reasons.

As for the whole "Samantha" middle name thing... that is purely Chris trying to give Sandy a character quirk... I guess. And of course for Chris, his female characters have one of two settings, either "I'm gonna hatefuck your face" or "Use me as your skeet blanket, Daddy," and since Sandy is a bit too young for the latter, she gets to be the former... at least for another issue or two when she ends up hooking up with Uncle Simon and birthing a New Holland tractor.

Goddamn, like...okay, years ago (I think in the wake of the fire? I'm certain it was at the temp house), Chris made those horrifying clay/lego hybrid sonichus, with one of them being Simonla. And somebody made a shitload of hilarious photos about Zombie Simonla and Wild legitimately engaging in necrophilia with her reanimated corpse.

Regardless, at the time the original pictures being posted, Chris mentioned he was 'repairing the damage done by trolls' by bringing back the one character that had essentially broken his little perfect world because he'd killed her off despite not wanting to. This is the first time in the years since those pictures were posted that actual evidence of retconning out her death in Chris's continuity emerges.

The trolls are probably going to engage in dank Gurren Lagann memes now.
