Since Phil considers tattoos to be some kind of replacement for therapy it makes sense that this weekend of all weekends he gets some extra stupid ones to help him relax.
Part of me feels sorry for Sonju because he has to give smelly Phil all these bicycle related tattoos while listening to him blab to him about the significance bikes have for him even though he's never riden on one before, but the other part of me realises that he more than likely charges Phil more than he'd charge most for the honour. People who just get tattoo after tattoo with more money than sense are probably a viral part of Sonju's business.

I was going to joke that his leg looks like a stubbly drumstick, but on Phil I believe the correct term would be "hock."
