Phil doesn't think a hammer can kill a man.
Does he take everything we say here at face value? That's some weapon -grade autism there. And yeah, it's always good idea to let people know you're going to assault someone with telescope baton, when the said person has made a complaint/note about you to local police dept. Then again, I guess Phil's worldview is extremely polarized "me" vs. "them" situation, if you aren't asspatting then you're probably plotting to kill and rape him in prison or something.
Phil reads kiwifarms obsessively.
One of my favourite things on the internet is when wannabe tough guys explain how their combat moves will win the fight in a clinical manner.

Phil is over exaggerating things as usual. I can't find where him carrying around a hammer was mentioned, but clearly it was being mentioned in the sense that he would have it in case he needed to defend himself. Instead Phil is trying to project to his friends that there's someone walking around Portland with a hammer, just waiting to find him and use it on him.
Even if someone was looking to attack him, it's best not to post in a public place where the attacker can see exactly how he plans to counter it.

I find Phil playing with weapons the funniest thing about him. Especially when they're actual toys.
Adding to the list of things I would pay money to see:
1. Phil running a Ninja Warrior/Spartan-esque obstacle course.
2. Phil attempting to knock anything out of anyone's hands with a baton. Phil couldn't take candy from a baby.
It's in Crustpunk Fandom. Someone jokingly suggested to Tweaker that he just take a hammer everywhere in case Phil shows up.
It is tragic that he looks LESS ridiculous in this picture than he does now. I'm sure years ago people thought this would never be topped.
