"some" lego doesn't equate to spending over half your profits on it, Chris.
also, ebay lets you set shipping charges, it doesn't have to be free. so he's got no one to blame but himself for shipping costs being too high (but we already knew that).
"some Lego"? more like, MULTIPLES sets of legos. And i bet that those debts he has are because he buy several, expensive lego sets, as usual. Chris, you're a fucking adult, if you "sincerely" want to help your mother, and the usual income doesn't covers that and your bills, maybe it's time to stop blowing your money on expensive children's toys...
Eh, also, notice how now he called his "monthly tugboat" a "usual income".
I realise I'm bumping my own thread with chatter here, but
I don't know about US dentistry, but is $600 realistic for dealing with some cavities? Obviously possible that he's poorly informed as well and just used the wrong terms. The more he insists that he's HONESTLY and TRULY needing money for his mother's teeth, the less inclined I am to believe that it's true.
Chris's theory of self is truly fascinating. He asks people to divert money from their own financial responsibilities to help him with his. It's like he doesn't realize that every other adult on the planet has to pay bills, too.
I got a flyer in the mail advertising dental work on an installment plan. I'm sure the dentist that sent that isn't the only one that has resorted to doing what it takes in this economy to get patients to come in. If tooth work was a high priority, they could get it done, one way or the other.
But I gotta love this, opened Facebook to find Chris begging like a Nigerian Scammer. You know those people are 100% convinced that their audience is buying their pitch. All I could think was $180 on Sailor Moon DVDs, hundreds on lego, and McDonald's, Goodwill and then some more McDonald's.
Yeah but I think it's the same as him saying "I'm man enough to admit my mistakes", it's him saying what he thinks we want to hear (since he knows that we know he's bought lego with the money) and hoping that he'll get rewarded for doing the 'right thing'.
