Does anyone know how Amberlynn got from Tucson to Virginia? Krystle didn't drive at that time, and I thought the last time she was on a plane was when she made Aunt Tammie buy her a second ticket for her size saying the foster mom would pay her back. Did Krystle's parents drive across the country to get her? Did she take a bus across the country? I feel like AL was never mature enough to survive on a days long bustrip by herself.
