A pretty good rule to live by is that anyone who argues to lower the Age of Consent is most likely a perverted weirdo that parents should be weary of if they are near a park, school, or anywhere else children are present.
I guess there is some room to debate when someone becomes an adult, but for me, I can't imagine any reason anyone would want to lower the AoC unless it was to get away with doing something weird with a much younger person.

You know, even if 12-year-olds could consent to sex, that doesn't mean they always will consent to sex.
Advocating for the lowering/abolishing of the age of consent is such a gigantic red flag. The only problem with age of consent laws is how sometimes teenagers can be fucked over by them, but even that is addressed by Romeo and Juliet laws. There is no valid reason to make it legal to fuck kids, other than it would make pedophiles very happy.

Depends on the jurisdiction and its particular laws regarding emancipation. Emancipation is only carried out in very specific circumstances though, and is an extreme measure since it literally entails the parents severing all legal rights and entitlements in regards to the child. Its essentially a last resort.
