Greyhound is notorious for bad scheduling and drivers saying "fuck it" and not showing up for a shift. Phil is trying to make it sound like the system is trying to "oppress" him.

lmao he has to sit and wait for a couple hours and he turns it into a Broadway production. I pity the other passengers, who also have to wait in the middle of the night for a new driver, but additionally are forced to listen to Phil bounce and squeak while waiting.
Conspicuously absent in these two videos; That annoying vibration alert interrupting proceedings. Why? Because nobody he's connected to on Facebook is up and screaming into the electronic void at this hour back at him.

Do you know what I like about this? This is as close to genuinely honest to god emotion he's expressed in a long while in those first 30 seconds that's fear on his face, he's in a area that he's not all to familure with, surrounded by people giving him odd looks, the people giving him those looks are mostly people he trys to avoid (darkies and the poor), and most of all there isn't a authority figure around he can complain to if somebody acts up.
The nice thing is it goes to show how helpless he is when things don't go to plan (well his plan) in a way he can't expect, that's why he's cried out for assistance at 2am rather than saying fuck it it's only two hours I'll read a book etc.

1) He's been critical of state aid before now in disaster situations, I havent really gotten to the bottom of way other than the obvious :autisim: answer. *
2) It's really ironic when you consider that he has the words "Get Consent" tattooed on his left flank.
Oddly enough, there has been a situation on my local rail transit system that causes some trains to be delayed (long running maintenance) and if your effected by it for longer than 30 min you get given a muffin an a hot drink if it's in the morning and a small business card to give to your boss with a contact number on to confirm the delay was outside of your control - they don't have to do that but I find that really rather nice.
Someone should have reported a rat infestation at the Greyhound stop in Redding. 
How utterly tragic.
