It's cause of the tism, he truly believes he is latinx and is puerto rican. It has been discussed here numerous times that he picked Puerto Rican cause of his love for JLO, sadly he confused being puerto rican with being latino and embraces all the latin cultures as if they were one which they aren't. For example he has a absurd love for Dias De Los Muertos and other festivities which are South American in nature, Puerto Rico is more like a spanish speaking USA than Mexico.

We celebrate all of the US Holidays (Halloween,Thanksgiving,Christmas,3 Kings(Probably the only exclusive holiday we have) as well as all the national US holidays (4th of July,Martin Luther King,Labor Day,etc.) Dias De Los Muertos is foreign to us, so is Cinco De Mayo and all those south american holidays he loves to post about.
