I doubt Chris really knows/cares about who Phil is. Which makes this funnier, Phil is still unnoticed by his beloved Chris-Chan.
In most gender echo chambers like the one Phil is in, using they pronouns when you know they use male or female ones means they doubt whether the person is trans or not. So Phil doesn't think Christine is trans but doesn't want to say it for fear of being called out and labeled transphobic.
But people who disagree with him still need to respect his identity and pronouns guise!
At least Chris tries to dress like a woman. A homeless elderly woman, but still. He's a way more believable woman than Phil can dream of being. And he looks like he might take a bath more than once a week, which is more than we can say for dear Isabel.

Phil is far more of an embarrassment to the Autistic and Trans communities than Christine. Christine is trying to better herself, using her disability money to pay down her debts and to help with the household expenses, takes care of her elderly mother (instead of physically attacking her mother), creating merch to sell for extra money, isn't a hate-filled bigot, and actually tries to dress feminine. Phil looks and acts like a psychotic homeless bigot who claims to be trans to try to convince passersby that all transgendered people are filthy people with severe mental issues.
