You an me both. There was a period there where I was out of work and would have liked to work for Geek Squad. So I applied thinking that my knowledge and experience would actually count for something. I even went as far on my resume to make sure I had put down my A+ certification when I normally take it off because it's silly.

Never got called. Never got an interview. Never did find out why until I started reading how Geek Squad techs are really doing monkey work by running scripts and "optimizing" PCs.

That and they really don't pay very well although considering how many on sale DVDs I've purchased at Best Buy it might not have been a bad gig for a short period.

As I said if you show promise they wont take you, your too likely to move on. What they are looking for is the Young, Inept an Incompitant who can't get a job elsewhere. So I would take heart in the fact I was to smart to be hired by them, hell the A+ goes WAY beyond what they are willing to pay for.

To be honest the UK's Geek Squad the Tech Guy's are my professional LOLcow's.

I am just wondering where he got the assumption,in which where we are going to bully her to death.

Also i don't get why he doesn't save up his money,so he has enough to go to England? So he can met MANDDYYYYYYYYY in person.

The only real transactions I've had with any Geek Squad was to replace a mouse that my pet rat chewed on the cord of, and to dump e-cycling. I don't really trust them to do anything else beyond that, at least well. I feel like I had tried to apply for a job there a long time ago, but of course I wasn't considered either despite my experience with building and repairing PCs.

Probably for the better, though. Considering the type of people that would turn to a Geek Squad for computer issues, I'm betting he'll have a hell of a time there.
