I wouldn't be surprised if Sonju was starting to get smart and was trying to put some distance between him and Phil. Phil's shitty tattoos don't reflect well on him as an artist (to be fair, they're Phil's design and this guy has done some decent work) and he (and Tattoo 13) would probably rather not be a part of the drama that swirls around Phil.

Maybe the guy actually looked himself up on Google and realized he's now mainly famous as a sketchy weirdo who does shitty tattoos for a hepatitis infected diabetic fat potato with a million nameless diseases.

I'm unsure that a truly reputable tattoo artist would tattoo Phil, to be honest. I've known quite a few piercers and tattoo artists and if you appear obviously mentally unstable, they won't tattoo or pierce you for risk of future lawsuits. It's similar to if you are drunk or high, except Phil is like this all the time.

Does anyone know if the tattoos on his hands were some of the most recent he's gotten? The artists I have known weren't fond of tattooing the head/face, neck, or hands, unless you were already pretty covered and/or have a career in which you can make a living with those tattoos. Then again, I guess it's not like Phil will ever work. Nevermind.
