"That is all for now - and now you know how much work goes into illustrating a Highway Code for a Bilingual Country."Parasite-ridden WOP said:For those wondering what I have been busy with drawing-wise, Updates continue to chug along on the Road Signs for Australatina - I am almost completed the permanent and temporary/construction warning signs section for the 2017 OdST (Ordinances for Traffic Safety) due to be completed and scanned up in full by December 2016
For the rest of December and somewhat into January - Regulatory Signs will be reviewed and updated to include signage for No Littering, No Vending/Hawking, and No U-or-Left Turns and a couple others (and every permutation of Vertical and Horizontal Clearance from 4,5 to 2,0 Meters and 3,0 to 2,0 Meters respectively on template pages) , Required Following Distance Sign will also have also 6 variants posted (50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100 Meters) and illustrated , and all Speed Limit signs (Maximum/Minimum/Recommended) and their cancellation signs (from 10 to 130 km/h , 30 to 90 km/h and 30 to 130 km/h respectively)
Supplemental Plate assemblies for Parking Regulations will be completed also during this time
All of January will be an overhaul to Railroad Crossing Signal Faces and Traffic Light and Pedestrian Signals (The Traffic Light additions primarily concerns Traffic Signals for Bicycles) , That month will also see the finalization for Pedestrian and Bicycle Signage
February until the Surgery Date to be Known will be Guide Signage for Motorways and Expressways (Exit Markers/Numbers, Overhead Gantry Signs, Toll Barrier Signage - Yes, Motorways in Australatina are Fucking Toll Roads - because I hate cars and drivers that much I make them pay -for the privilege- to use the controlled-access Motorways)
Post-Surgery until December 2016 will be the Supplemental Plates pages - three versions of all text and/or graphic and text supplemental plates will be illustrated Spanish/English , Spanish Only and English Only so to comply with Australatina's Official Language and Language Community Areas Laws - Chapter 6 § 123-127, § 129-133, 135, 137 of 1968 (revisions pertaining to Traffic Signage amended in 2011 and 2014) and the local laws of the majority Spanish-speaking or majority English-speaking Prefectures/Federal Cities of Australatina. During this time will be wrap-up updates in-between supplemental plate pages of other categories so small to mention.
and the last and final update will be the Pavement Markings , since the permanent Yellow Shoulder Line in the process of being replaced with a White Shoulder Line
That is all for now - and now you know how much work goes into illustrating a Highway Code for a Bilingual Country.
