For those who aren't MCU spergs, the reality stone - which Chris thinks his high school ring is - has appeared in one movie aside from Avengers: Infinity War, and that was Thor: The Dark World. In it, Chris Eccleston forged it into the aether, a fluid looking MacGuffin with vaguely-defined properties that could apparently revert the universe to a pre-Big Bang state. This was seemingly too complex for Chris, so he seems to have appropriated the term "aether" for some part of his high school ring, possibly a reflection from the cut or something.

I know for a fact that a couple people in the past, including myself, but I feel like it's worth repeating. Even by Chris' own logic his high school ring being the reality stone doesn't make any sense. The reality stone was always shown to be a Red gem, while his high school ring has a Purple gem, which is the color of the Power Stone. Then again since he is not only taking a WatchMojo video seriously, but actually using the information in the video as evidence for his banter on the merge, it's very safe to say he hasn't gotten any smarter over the years, and the fact that people like the Idea Guys and the Teen Troon Squad and continuously feed into his delusions don't help.

He's been misusing 'fatefully' a lot lately. It's like the inverse of 'naive.' Basically, it puts a vaguely positive spin on an otherwise foolish behavior without adding any additional context. It's essentially just a brick in the textwall.
