Credit for these new pics goes to Ruckersvillian. I asked him in a recent PM conversation if he could do a drive-by when he was in the area, and he was kind enough to oblige.

There doesn't seem to have been much activity as far as construction goes, but there is one of those huge dumpsters on-site. The large plastic-wrapped objects (refrigerators?) appear to be gone and all of the cars are gone, except for Chris's Cadillac. I thought Chris was still driving the Cadillac. Maybe he was there when the pics were taken.

The color of the house looks less faded, maybe was the angle Ruckersvilian used to take the pictures.

I guess the they going to need at leat two of those dumpsters to remove all the hoard, that if barba doesnt get there first to rescue her precioussss... horde.

It would, and chances are the doors have been given new locks by the insurance company specifically to keep out trespassers.

There's an abandoned house in my neighborhood, and when the bank took ownership they put a huge padlock on the front door that's probably big enough to beat someone to death with. Of course, you can still get in if you want; they left the gates wide open (literally did not even close them) and they never replaced the rear sliding glass door that you can lift right off its track.

I wonder about the cars in particular. I don't think any of them were drivable anymore, save the cadillac that Chris drives, so they would have had to be towed. And... where would they be towed to?

Also, there's a lot of paneling peeling off on the one side. I wonder if that was caused by the fire, or if it was just normal wear and tear that the house had already been experiencing.

He hauled out one bag and it hit him on the head when he was swinging it up into the dumpster. ISN'T THAT ENOUGH?!?!

The side to the left of the front door? I'm going to go with fire, given how it appears to be peeling off closer to the top. It does look like it's peeling away from under the roof, at any rate.

I can't imagine Barb not having a difficult time right now. Think of all the things in your own house you'd miss if you lost all of it. Chris has to be feeling the pinch of his mom dealing with the total loss of her precious hoard.

The cars being gone is interesting. Where'd they go? Were they sold or junked? What's up with the one that's there, is it undrivable?

It's an open-top container. We occasionally have the county health department send one of them in at my job whenever we need to haul out really big things (like discarded deli counters) or just massive amounts of shit. Sad as it is to say it, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they had to make more than one trip with that thing just to clear out all crap that's in 14BC.
