It’s worse if you’re as fat and uncoordinated as Phil.

Of course being fat and semi-tarded is more or less the norm for furries.
The furry community is such a big thing that it's kinda hard to generalise it. There are a lot of little cliques, because you get furries from all different orientations, political alignments etc. Phil won't fit into any of them because he's still the same dribbling spastic as before, and where Antifa are obligated to put up with Phil because he claims to support their cause, the furries can simply tell him to fuck off.
Personally I'd love to see Phil sink all his money into this new identity. Imagine him in his budget fursuit, coming apart at the seams because he had it made for how big he *thinks* he is rather than how big he actually is. Antifa patches sewn head-to-toe all over it.
It's really sad how attached Phil is to inanimate objects. The bike became his daughter (and is now mercilessly discarded), a deer plushie literally becomes his identity.
Times like this, I have to think of Phil's family. Just when they conclude their offspring couldn't be a bigger waste of space, he finds a way to top himself. The disappointment must be crushing.
If anime was popular among ANTIFA and SJWs instead, you can be certain Phil would go all out otaku and praise anime as the best thing ever, instead of denouncing it as "right wing." And if furry were denounced as "right wing" by ANTIFA and SJWs, Phil would be parroting right along with them.
It's as if Phil has some kind of herd mentality on steroids.
