Ok, so a new post to his Tumblr might explain why Phil has been gone lately:

FYI: Azithromycin is an antibiotic, which means it fights off bacterial infections.

Unfortunately for Phil, when your hygiene is as bad as his, you're going to be covered in all kinds of bacteria.

It's not surprising considering Phil's hygiene, living conditions and the constant tattoos he covers himself in I'm surprised he still has an immune system.

Theoretically it would be the other way around. I'd expect Phil to be able to stare down Typohid Mary given the myriad of germs and shit he's been exposed to and built a tolerance for.

Last night I threw out some rotten potatoes that were in the back of my pantry. I expect that they were far less toxic and full of bacteria than our grand spud.
It's amazing he doesn't have MRSA all over his body and hasn't gone septic and died with his filthy, degraded lifestyle and vile habits.

He does have MRSA all over his body. What do you think lives in his tattoos?

At this point, Phil is so repulsive the only thing that will bother with him are fungus and bacteria.

I doubt even those would bother him until and until they get really bad. I mean, if he had a problem with bacteria, he might put a little effort into not being covered in it. His trench foot indicates that he's ok with conditions that promote fungus, too. In fact, I'm starting to think that the only reason he's still alive is that the fungus growing on his increasingly disgusting body is countering the bacteria he's covered in. Philthy is growing his own antibiotics on his body!

That's really desperate for attention, walk all the way to the liabrary and post about a cold, which no one gives a damn about. I am sure that the Dr. Is treating him for other things as well, like widespread yeast, antisychosis, and MRSA. I am sure that the doctor questioned whether he should just euthanize him or not.
