One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a very old book. Mental health centers aren't like that anymore. And practically no one gets into an institution "for life." People end up in the prison system, homeless, or dead.

An "insanity defense" very, very rarely succeeds. Chris has a good lawyer who knows this.

Every picture I’ve see wherein Chris has facial hair makes me think he can’t grow a full beard. He’s always had patches and fluff but never substantially so or to the degree that it could be called a beard.

Minor point of possible misinterpretation on the latest letter: Chris has not, as some said, claimed that he is an alicorn as compared to mere Earth ponies to any other inmates. He has merely made this claim in a private letter, AFAWK.

I wonder what might happen if he did voice such sentiments to his fellows. I don't see him getting the crap kicked out of him for doing so: however, he might lose any 'friends' he may have amongst them just for coming out with such crack-brained bullshit.

If jail is anything like the public school system, which is another nice place full of people forced to be confined together, Chris might be the type of weirdo that others just stay away from entirely. It sounded like Chris said he was choosing not to interact with other inmates anyway.

I keep hoping this too. But it would be a horrible idea for any one working there to do so. Limited staff, details on an inmate, good way to lose their job. I've no doubt it would be brought up by Chris' lawyer if such a leak occured.

But honestly I do wonder on a daily basis the reality is from the guard's point of view, or what ever medical staff are there.

As for Chris' interaction with other inmates..he could for all we know have a cell to him self. Thanks to covid-19, they don't want to keep people in jail unless necessary. The jail could be operating under capacity.

And honestly; given his hygiene habits; who'd want to be near Chris-Chan?

This one irks me too. It's just another aspect of his narcissism that is beyond grating. I keep coming back to this comparison, but this is another thing Chris and Randy Stair have in common.
