Australatina National Highways, the WTF Facts
The weird ones:
There are no two-digit parent routes 15, 25, 86, and 96 (due to deletion/renumbering or upgraded to Autopista (Motorway) routes, but three-digit routes of these numbers still exist.
The most recent two-digit number to be deleted is Route 86, now Route 186 and the A98 Autopista in Australatina Sureste and San Felipe
Australatina Route 9 is the longest North-South route clocking in at 2,137 km, Australatina Route 30 is the Longest West-East route clocking in at 1,408 km
Australatina Route 9RN (Ramal Noreste) Was formerly known as Australatina Route 25 until 2016, the entire road is dual carriageway and serves as a bypass highway southeast of Gloucester, the are plans for upgrading the highway to Motorway standards. Construction has not started yet in upgrading the highway, though it's been talked about repeatedly off/on since 2009.
The Shortest signed Australatina National Highway is Australatina Route 399, a tiny North-South route only 0.95 km long, the route starts from Australatina Route 99 to the Australatina/Sargassia border, ending at a closed border checkpoint
Australatina Route 28 from Viña del Mar to Pitoján in Viña del Mar Prefecture (a 187 km section of this road) is permanently closed to civilian traffic by the Australatina Defense Forces and Australatina Border Police for security reasons along the Australatina/Nueva Grecia, there are plans to -eventually- reroute 28 onto the A24 Motorway, the "orphaned" Viña Del Mar municipality segment of 28 is now Australatina Route 528
Australatina Routes 47 and 80 have large gaps in the route (due to completed Motorways)
Australatina Routes 15, 108, 147, 170 are deleted and downgraded to Prefecture maintenance/numbering
Australatina Route 80 exists frequently as a concurrency (on maps) on the A8 Motorway from Rehobot to Nogales, Also adding to the confusion, Australatina 80 is sporadically signed on the A8 (except for the kilometer/hectometer posts which all reset to 0 with each new prefecture line crossed)
Australatina Route 99 in Australatina Suroeste exists entirely as a concurrency on the A17 Trans-Australatina Highway (electronic toll road) due to be completed by early 2019 in Australatina Suroeste
Australatina Route 100 is a circular ring road (and the only route to end with two zeros) in Regina D.F. and is 107 km long
Australatina Route 147 was deleted due to severe earthquake damage in 2011, downgraded as Valladolid Prefecture Route 147. Insignificant road widths in hilly piedmont sections of 147 was the result of the downgrade.
Australatina Route 168 abruptly ends at the Regina D.F./Santa Cruz Del Sur Prefecture Line, The Regina D.F. section of the road was officially deleted in 2011 and relinquished to Regina Metropolitan Government maintenance and exists as Regina Metropolitan Route 168, Australatina 168 reappears again once East of Regina Espallat International Airport and into La Junta Prefecture
Australatina Route 170 was downgraded to Prefecture Route 170 when the A86 Motorway replaced Australatina Route 70 East of Valencia
Australatina Route 192 is a dual carriageway expressway in San Felipe and Dos Bahías and is not connected to the two-digit number parent, Australatina Route 92
Australatina Route 201 exists entirely in San Felipe and is not connected to it's parent Australatina Route 1, it was until 2014 when the A110 Motorway deleted Australatina Route 1
Australatina Route 299 in Australatina Suroeste was Australatina Route 64 until July 2017
Australatina Routes 505 and 547 in San Felipe and Regina respectively do exist but have inconsistent signage marking the routes, they do exist on the maps though
When the Eastern section of the Trans-Australatina Highway (A101 Motorway) along Australatina's Costa Del Sol is completed in 2020, multiple sections of Australatina Route 80 will be rerouted onto the Trans-Australatina as A101/N80 - parts of the old coastal 80 will be renumbered either as new National Highway routes or downgraded to Prefecture Route status
