That said, Tumblr has some grade-A porn. In my social circles, it's common to have at least three tumblrs: one for general stuff, one for fandom, and one for porn, so Tin Can Jim Bob should fit right in on that front.

The problem with SJWs is that they also hate pretty much any type of porn as it is "denigrating women". There used to be this thing called 'sex positive feminism', where one could be feminist and still be kinky, but apparently on Tumblr those are seen as the devil. People having a good time and enjoying themselves is triggering to Tumblrites.

Of course, everything is triggering to people on Tumblr. The genuinely cruel, murderous, violent shit or anything involving children will be flagged very quickly on there. But, as Moleman used to say: "When it's drawn, it's doesn't count!". You can't actually make a video of you doing shit with minors, but you can draw it and it will be allowed on places like DeviantArt and Tumblr alike. Good taste and morals have no place there, and the likes of Goldilocks flourish.

Unless you live in Canada. Here it is as punishable as actual child porn.

Want to stay out of the Tumblr drama? Go to your settings, select "block messages", "block replies" and "block asks". Then download a keyword blocker- install it- and block SJW terminology, and any fandoms you don't like- "Superwholock", "Brony", "Furry", etc.

dA allows what some would consider "porn" as dA's definition is pretty narrow (and reasonable IMO) - it pretty much has to be actual sex acts to be porn, not just nudity per se.

Of course, when it comes to underaged characters, their policies are a lot more strict - pretty much any underaged nudity is b&. They don't even allow nudity in fanart of adult characters who happen to be underaged in canon, IIRC.

This is all true in theory. In practice however, super popular artists are unlikely to be banned, or at least permabanned. They are also likely to ignore CP if the characters are non-human. I've seen nude child angels in blatant sexual positions get a free pass because "they're not actually human and are probably thousands of years old anyways".

Oh, it's still around, in most places actually. I think that people mistake Tumblr as being like a forum, where there's difference of opinion, but everyone pretty much lines up in the reasons that they use the platform. It's not. Actually, it's a lot more like Reddit, with millions of very, very diverse users sharing the same tools to build their own little Internet platform. Just like you could spend weeks on Reddit looking at cute baby animal pictures without ever seeing an MRA or a Red Pillock, you could spend weeks happily scrolling your Tumblr dashboard and never once encounter a member of the "SJW" fringe. If you want to see that stuff, you pretty much have to seek it out yourself.

Tumblr's greatest feature and biggest drawback is that you curate your own content. You seek out what you want and decide what you see, and you can filter out the things that you don't want very easily. On the one hand, it's incredibly helpful to enjoy your current interests, discover new ones, and connect with others who share those interests.

On the other hand, it's incredibly easy to create an echo chamber where alternate viewpoints are nonexistent and criticism is hastily quashed, forming a sort of intellectual cage. Echo chambers are nice if you have other forms of interaction to occasionally push you outside of your comfort zone, but for a lot of users, Tumblr is all they have, and that can be harmful.

On the gripping hand, like I said earlier, Tumblr is a tool. It's only as good as the way you use it. If you want to rail against tumblrinas for being special snowflakes, you'd have to do the same against redditors for being woman-hating neckbeards, or against video games for encouraging school shootings. Don't condemn the tool for the way the minority of people use it.
