That's actually a really good point. It seems counter-intuitive, but Jay's turning out to be some kind of lolcow geyser. If you try to make something happen, you get no reaction, but if you just wait around long enough, he explodes in a towering fountain of hilarity. Wish I'd figured that out sooner.
Yeah, Jay often seems to experience completely normal, socially-appropriate behavior as trolling - it's the most fascinating thing about him.

When I first heard that the Plastic Peasant had tickled a little girl and everyone called a paedophile for it I actually thought it was a huge overreaction. I didn't see the problem in a guy playing with a little girl as long as he really was just playing. Everyone is too paranoid about predators going after their kids. I just rolled my eyes.
Then I read what GK actually wrote...

Yeah he's a sick fuck and shouldn't be let near kids.

It's that line about the bare feet... Ick! Well that line and the fact that at the time he was doing it he already assumed people were thinking he was doing something inappropriate. It's like he was already projecting the gross thoughts he was having. If you see a guy playing with a young kid and nothing is wrong they don't give a shit what people think etc. I mean, they aren't trying to hide where their hands are going or trying to be surreptitious in any way. From the moment he got in there he knew what he wanted to do was wrong and he tried to find ways to make it 'look better' to the adults around him...

...

...and everything else he wrote in the journal, before the journal, after the journal, in his favourites etc...

It was the line about trying to get his hand up a girl's shirt that really sealed it for me. Tickling is one thing but actually going after skin to skin contact because makes him feel good... that's a whole new level.
Jay the Gross really is in trying to hide the fact that he gets off on being touched and touching little girls. The foot fetish part doesn't creep me out so much because its pretty common but it's kids... kids shouldn't be sexualised at all.

And this is the problem with manchildren in general. You can't be childlike or "young at heart" (as Chris liked to call himself) if you have sexual urges. Jay is really having trouble integrating his fantasy self as a six-year-old super-soldier with his sexuality. This is nowhere clearer than in his comic, where he describes his child Mary Sue as a sadist/foot fetishist. He has bizarrely cross-fertilized the Powerpuff Girls with Call of Duty, and he has lost touch with what children are actually like. I can see him literally falling head over heels in love with a spunky, energetic third grader. He'll run away with her so they can shoot terrorists together at the Mexican border.

Oh yeah, that part made my skin crawl. The thing with the feet is that we already know it's his sexual fetish. He doesn't discuss it in any other context... Ever.

Putting the hand up her shirt is revolting but the moment he made a special mention of their bare feet it sealed everything else he mentioned as sexual in nature rather than a retarded man child who 'accidentally all the sentences' and made himself look worse than he is.

You also have to remember that the doll he takes to bed with him and uses as a sex toy looks like this:

... a slightly chubby 5 year old girl...

Let's do something kinda nutty. Kinda goofy and out there.

Let's give Jay the benefit of the doubt.

No, really, let's put aside all the blatant evidence presented in the Christmas Journal, his complaints about underage women, the stuff in his favorites folder. Let's ignore all that and no longer accuse him of the worst, but assume the best.

Let's imagine that Jay was just being a lovable, cuddly, overgrown kid-at-heart. Let's assume that the mighty Golden Knight simply decided to cast aside the dreary restrictions of adult behavior established by a cold, grey world of defeat and disappointment, and jumped into the ball pit of youth once more, to enjoy the excitement and laughter of unrestrained children having loads of fun.
This is, it seems, what Jay wants us to believe. So let us, just for the nonce, for this brief moment, endeavor to believe him. Let us allow ourselves a measure of credit to Jay's proclaimed virtue so that we may say that we have considered his side fairly. And once we've done so, upon emerging from the other side of this contemplation, let us ask ourselves, have we truly been evenhanded and reasonable towards Geis, a man with obvious mental issues?

Yeah. Yeah, we have.

Jay says he's guiltless, but what he doesn't realize is that all the exculpatory evidence of his assertion is inextricably locked within the confines of his skull. In order to make himself appear innocent, he'd have to prove intent. But since we can't reasonably believe him (he's just some guy on the internet, after all), it doesn't make sense to trust him.

Here's the thing. If we assume that Jay's most recent claims are true - That he played with, and touched, those children simply due to a lack of maturity and eagerness to have innocent fun ... Well, then, that's really screwed up. All out the whim-wham. I mean, really - Dude was a stranger. He was an adult stranger playing with children. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but he refers to the children as such, not by name, and not by family. If Jay is/was so dense as to not understand how society works, if he genuinely cannot fathom the idea that grown strangers are not to play with children in such a manner, then one could make the argument that he's kind of a danger to society. Not as much as a child molester (again, this is hypothetical, assuming he wasn't being lustful in his actions), but still someone so completely nonplussed that he can't be trusted to be safe around children, or certain other adults for that matter.

He's either a predatory cretin or socially retarded to a precarious degree. It seems sometimes as if he wants to prove that he's both.

Thanks for the feedback. Although I can understand about the rhetoric, omitting the whole "touched me first" point would mean this would no longer be "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."

Oh, by the way, please let us not talk about this any more, before I have to block you and call you an idiot. OK?
His latest comment. I say we do just that and ignore his whole being a creeper on Christmas thing.

Remember how he wanted to, essentially, torture his girlfriend emotionally and physically so he could get off? What a fucking creep.

Creep isn't a strong enough word, in my opinion. Heather couldn't have made a better decision in dropping him and not looking back. On the current girlfriend front, I feel that Manday is intentionally ignoring him as a form of trolling. Needless to say, it's pretty effective, given we've learned Jay is incredibly insecure and thrives on attention. When his insecurities are spat at and he loses attention, he flips out.

If Manday is doing this she should be more active in her ignoring of him... Ramp it up. Write a nice journal that mentions nothing about him as if he doesn't exist. Not even bothering to acknowledge that she had a 'boyfriend'. Just talking about life and the new baby etc. But without blocking him. That way when he inevitably commented on her journal she'd have more to ignore.

Just a reminder to those who may have been called an "idiot" by Jay on dA. He's very scared of getting in to trouble through breaking the rules.

I don't know what it is, but for some reason, whenever I think about coming here on Deviantart, I'm usually nervous or worried that I'll be greeted with a "You've been Banned" message. It's not like I've done anything that's burdening my karma. It's just that, as a person that likes to be honest and openly frank, I don't want to be a "bad person." It's only an initial sensation, and when I log on and see all is fine, I usually calm down.

I know that there are some nasty people out there even HERE on dA. That premise alone makes me a bit jumpy when considering signing on here. Now like I said, it's not like somebody's holding my throat or anything specific, it's just I know that there are some...harsh people on the Internet even HERE! I've seen at least a couple cases even in my isolated realm of fandom. I guess I'm just afraid of getting flamed or verbally beat down for reasons that elude me if a reason is even needed at all.

Am I the only one here that feels like this, always concerned with "etiquette" and Codes of Conduct and not with how other people think, but how they will react to what I do or say? It's not going to slow my work or anything, but it's certainly something on my mind.

I don't know much about dA, but isn't "failure to hugbox" considered an infraction?

He does that. I'm torn in my response between not wanting to see that happen because I don't want to be an :alog: or a :epik: but here we have a guy really testing us.

Still though, just watching as he digs his own hole seems to be the best way to go about things. Ignoring him is kind of the default setting.

As a guy with a dA page, I wouldn't say so, but it's a little hard to tell because a lot of what's considered infractions or not is based on users reporting each other, so you don't always get totally honest judicial stuff going on there.

I think he brings out the :alog: in most of us.

Manday already signs on from time to time, and GK sees it and throws a tantrum. Would be pretty entertaining if she, as you said, posted a journal with no regard to Jay at all. If all of this disappearing she's doing really is to troll him, this person pretty much already knew exactly what would reaaaally get to him.

I'd also like to add that it would be even more awesome if she responded to other people's comments... Just not Jay's. No blocking or deleting just no response.

This is from the guy who responds to people then instantly hides the comments so they can't even see what he said. I think he just does that purely so it looks like the matter was "resolved" since simply hiding comments without replying en masse would look pretty bad for him.

Because hiding the comments doesn't look shady in the first place. The logic this dude has is absolutely bonkers.

Does anyone think he'll backpedal and just delete the journal? Jay's predictable most of the time, but I can't tell if he'll panic and try deleting everything about it or keep it up and let it be seen by all. Didn't he delete the Christmas Journal?

But you guys
there's a difference between third-person-perspective (the sense of looking in on yourself from how others see you) versus first-person-perspective (How *YOU* see yourself). And from first-person-perspective, I was having the time of my life from the all-too-rare treat of physical contact play!

It's not wrong to touch kids if you're a narcissist because it's a matter of perspective.

At this point he generally seems to think "Hey this is put to rest and I'll block/idiot name people who disagree SO THERE!" The random people kissing his ass in the comments just help cement this.
