Just looked it up. Apparently there was some direct to video animated flick from 2008 called Turok: Son of Stone. Just did a Google image search and it looks kind of wack. It looks like a 90's Saturday morning cartoon.
I do love his script being mom-approved. Because when I go into a movie or comic my first thought is "But what would their mum think?"

Every time Jay likes to mention he won't be online as much, he's actually way more active than he is when he's promising to grace us all with his constant presence.

I'd just like to remind everyone that he had a job and only because of his mom's connections. He fucked that up and quit because his boss complained that he wasn't meeting the quota everyone else was able to. Now he's applying for work with a job history that shows he quit within a month or two of being hired. You know he probably puts that on his application because to him working a few months seems like an accomplishment. Jay's personality would make working with customers difficult and even if he got a job doing something in some dark corner his lack of drive would get him in the same situation as before. Jay got a job when he had a motive to (Heather wanted him to do something with his life and he wanted to visit her) and right now he's single and openly admits that he's "living the life" at home.
I just don't understand this guy. He's smart enough to realize he doesn't have much of a fanbase but at the same time when four or five people claim to be his fans he makes it sound like they're lucky to be in his presence. He's not as dumb as Chris but his ego is so big that he may as well be. I kind of want to see someone make him a bit more agitated but that'd risk him hiding back in his hole in DA. He can't or won't seem to function on any site unless he has the ability to block/kick someone.
Surely he visits sites where he's just another poster/commenter, right? I know he's a control freak but does it go that far?
His comparison of his own journal about being a pedophile to a popular person's regular critcism is what makes Jay special. He's only popular BECAUSE he's a nutcase; no one has ever built any sort of attention around him in positivity to his comics. DA asspatters who would occasionally show up to comment on his comics have disappeared long ago, and probably won't come back after his Final Closure spastic case. The only people who talk to him try to tell him what he's doing wrong and his behavior is what got him in trouble in the first place. I think after realizing he really is a lonely little weirdo even in DA standards, trying to boast about being so popular helps him believe it's true, or tells any newcomers 'oh hey, this guy must be famous because he said so.'
It reminds me of how during some high school event he thought people were cheering his name because he was so awesome. It didn't pass through his mind that they were doing it because he's obviously... special and they were just trying to be encouraging.
It's all about denial. If Jay admitted he was lonely, creepy and unlikable, he would feel uncomfortable. If he instead tells himself - like his mom told him - that people are just jealous of his special snowflakiness, that he's somehow popular, and that he's intellectually superior and right in every way, he feels better. It's better to build yourself up than help the world tear you down... especially when it's entirely your fault that you are such a horrible human being. It's not a matter of bad luck, all lolcows gain the fame because of how insane they act, and they always deserve it. Jay is just more of a special case in being raised as the ultimate spoiled brat than most of it being blamed on his psychosis (although we all know he's definitely not wired right, either).
Is TGK aware how socially awkward it sounds when he says (or at least implies) that he needs the approval of his mom on a public website at age 20-something?
