From the q&a, after asking why is this 40 bucks:
"The photographs are on Photo Glossy Paper with highest quality printing detail. And my autograph would certainly be worth it."
Not sure if this is utter self delusion, or full blown egotism right now... probably both, with full force I guess.

I just got home from the night shift, and part of my routine is checking the CWCki for updates. This made my night.

Believe it or not, this might be an indicator that Chris' thinking is going in a somewhat logical direction. He is aware of his internet fame, and that it's him and what he's done, not Sonichu, that brought this fame. He also realizes that he could potentially profit from it. What he fails to realize, is he's not at all marketable if he's removed from what made him famous.

All he would have to do is, say, make some Fuckin Model Magic medallions himself, with his signature on the back, and sell them for like $5-10 apiece, plus shipping. That would rake in at least a little money. And he could do more of his "art" and sell both originals and prints. I'd kill for a Merried Seinor Comic painting on my wall. He could do all this shit with very little overhead.

My hope is that this news is perhaps an omen of me having that MSC drawing/painting.

With the photos of Chris that are being sold, they're bound to have his address at the rental house. Does anyone think they'll get leaked onto these forums? Either that, or Chris is just keeping the money and not sending anything

Heh, Chris' thinking isn't any more nor less logical than before. Chris wants to maintain his lego habit and he wants Barb off his back.

I think Barb's on his ass a lot more about the finances recenty, hence the recent push in begging/demanding people buy his crap, NO HAGGLE.

He was originally demanding $1000 for his drawings, then $500, then $200. Every step down represents him getting a little more desperate. Chris hates every step down, because he feels like he shouldn't have to sell out to get Barb to quit bitching at him.

This is desperation, that's it. It's a few steps above Chris giving tugjobs behind Target.

Someone stated in the discussion thread that his address on eBay was still listed at 14 Branchland ct.

We already know the address of the rental. No, it's not going to be published. Chris and Barb's landlord has enough troubles without adding in a shitload of weenery. Besides, Chris and Barb are going to be out of the rental soon enough, so its address is largely irrelelvant.

Oh, and Chris will do his best to send his pics (not that his best is particularly good) to legitimate purchasers, if only to encourage more people to buy his worthless crap send him lego money

The price is going to go up as soon as Chris goes to Staples to buy the photo paper, ink cartridges and shipping envelopes. I've sold stuff on eBay before, and unless you have a system set up for fulfillment, it just isn't worth selling stuff that costs less than $50. I bet the photos go up to $50 and the custom drawings go up $50 too to $150 and $250. He is going to get pretty tired of filling special requests and organizing shipments. He may figure it isn't worth making the effort to sell crap at all.

I honestly think Chris has no concept of the difference between $200 and $5000. The only money he's ever had is the pocket change his mama gives him. He hears numbers but they don't represent anything to him.

I noted that as well. Could it be confirmation that the medallion(s) survived? Or do we have that already? Or...?
Maybe they survived because they're made of strong, long lasting CRAYOLA FUCKIN' MODEL MAGIC AND ACRYLIC PAINT! I do hope that they survived, even if Chris doesn't wear them.

I would like a framed copy of Sonichu Issue 0 to mount on my wall, next to the talking fish.

I doubt his sense of time isn't that solid either...especially with fulfilling deadlines. Having known a couple MTG alter artists, I know that demand drives deadlines, but expect at a minimum 2 weeks to go from concept to finished product. I had one guy take almost a month to get one card done. Not to mention people would like to see 'work-in-progress' pictures of the product...something I think Chris will try and charge as well.

He's actually taking advantage of the fact that people are willing to pay that much for his autographed photo? Along with actually taking his friends' advice on taking commissions?

I'm actually really happy for him that he's finally showing some good sense and not being his own worst enemy now. Finally finding a way that actually works to milk his internet infamy. Good for him to be honest.
