1997 Cadillac Seville SLS - $5000 (Ruckersville, VA)

http://charlottesville.craigslist.org/cto/4676707952.html

1997 Cadillac Seville SLS,
Sedan 4 Door
4.6 L V8 TPI DOHC 32V FWD

VIN: 1G6KS52Y0VU833657

CarFax Report available.

Counting ourselves, this car has seen 4 Owners. We have invested thousands of dollars in not only a new CD Player/Radio, but Multiple repairs at a Cadillac dealership. But while it did run very well for a long time, a mechanic messed up on repairing it. Now it has a cracked engine block and requires a new battery and fresh gasoline. A good car wash, and the trunk latch is broken.

Simply put, this car is a near easy fixer-upper for the right person. But considering the upgrades it has seen, we are set on the price of $5,000 for the car; that is either a third or a quarter the price of a new Cadillac Seville, so it is a good deal for this type of fabulous car.

You may call the lady of the house, and owner of the car, at the above phone number to set up a meeting for looking at and buying the car (a tow truck will or may be required). Thank You, and have a Good and Safe Day.

1996 BMW Z3 1.9 - $15000 (Ruckersville, VA)

http://charlottesville.craigslist.org/cto/4677871136.html

condition: excellent

1996 BMW Z3 1.9L, L4, PFI, DOHC, 24 V, Rear Wheel Drive, Convertable, Manuel Transmission.
VIN: 4USCH7322TLB76673
Carfax Report Available.

Please Call the enclosed Phone Number to schedule a meet and greet about the car.

Counting us, this car has seen five owners. It is in Good Condition, drives very well. It is a Convertable, but you have to put the top down and up yourself with the latches shown in the photo from the inside of the vehicle. The radio and CD Player work good. This car would make for a great sporty ride that would get the attention of any person you want.

So Chris considers car maintenance "upgrades"? The only upgrade I can see is the CD player.
Everything else seems to be broken anyway.

He will not get much over $500 for it in that condition unless it is cleans up real well inside and out and has low mileage.

*looks at CL ad* Hmm...1996 z3? *Checks Kelly's BlueBook* $3,030 in excellent condition. Chris is trying to bilk people out of thousands on this car.

Considering the fact that he also tried to sell an old 90's CRT television for $200, his concept of money hasn't changed in the slightest. $15,000 for a 1996 BMW that has most likely been misused and maintained far less than a BMW needs to be? Shit, y'all, this is depressing.

I'm pretty huge car nerd and I sometimes fix and flip old BMWs to make extra money.

If it's really in "excellent condition" the Z3 is worth maybe $2,000-$2,500 but I wouldn't pay more than $1,000 for it considering it's had five owners and sat unused for months, at the very least it needs all the fuel hoses replaced, the gas tank cleaned out, and probably cooling system, engine and suspension work since it's a 20 year old BMW.

$15,000 is hilarious, you can buy a mint condition 90s/early 2000s M5 for that.

No one besides one of those "pull your own parts" places would pay one single red cent for a shitty old front wheel drive Caddy with a cracked engine block. It might be worth a few hundred in parts and scrap but that's it. I honestly wouldn't even take it if someone offered it to me for free.

Sorry for the TL;DR
