Apparently, there was a publication of D.Va's VA saying she witnessed "toxic gamerboys" because she kept trying to do D.Va's voice in the match she was in, yet I can only assume what they said was "shut the fuck up, you're annoying" because that's what I did. They reported this instead of the time Matt Mercer and Crispin Freeman (McCree's and Winston's Voice Actors) were getting harassed and even Mercer getting banned because of him saying "It's High Noon" which tricked people.

At this point, anything will be a bannable offense. Glad I jumped ship after the "lootbox improvements" which made me end up getting way less currency than before.

It’s already interpreted too broadly and irrationally. They were allready censoring banter when I was playing, and the only shit I’ve ever seen about Overwatch for about a year and a half besides character trailers is crap regarding their endless hunt to end “toxicity”. I have no idea why they think cracking down on shittalk at every opportunity will work, but it seems like they have an Ahab-like fixation on it to the point of more people working on that as opposed to making new shit for the game.

That Matt Mercer thing is absolute bullshit, if they banned him for that then they have a really skewed vision on what should and should not be allowed in the game.

In general I feel like people are being whiny bitches about these things though, play the game and don't be a fucktwat ingame and you won't get banned. Thousands of hours in games like LoL, CS, PUBG, WC3 etc and so far have never been banned for being toxic. I can't imagine it being that hard.
