I checked my prestream database which doesn't include the past 2 months or some shit and he specifically mentioned "homeowners insurance" once.

The likelihood of his bank allowing him to have a loan and not have insurance included in his payments seems very slim. Then again there's no guarantee the insurance policy actually covers everything you might expect it to.

The other thing about the tax situation is he had pretty good reason to not mention what it was. All things considered you probably don't want to tell the internet about an impending tax audit because what you say about it might have implications. I'm not saying he's the beacon of 100% true & honest behavior like Chrischan, but there was good reason to even bullshit about the state tax shit.

Unless he's signed an NDA (lol) with his MCN over discussing an impending action, that wouldn't explain why he wouldn't want to or be able to discuss it.

Nor do I imagine that would he be bound or really that concerned with some shit from a condo HOA.

The things that come to mind for me that someone would be advised to be very vague about are legal actions, financial issues involving an audit of some kind, something that would be affected by what he might say on the topic or some sort of other random event.

I'm really guessing that this is more in line with what people guessed his state tax saga issue was before it was actually revealed, which might have something to do with the bank looking at his loans or credit cards and asking for documentation about his income.

Keep in mind when he moved to Washington he had just taken out the second property loan, but since then his income has dropped by 40%. Because of the amount of risky consumer debt in the US its entirely plausible that this is an impending possible bank action that they've warned him of.

The whole article is worth reading. It also states these "multi-channel-networks" should monitor the uploads of their members. And here we have this guy who ups 15+ videos a day, you can imagine they don't really want to do that. It also reads like there was nothing they could do, it was a decision of YouTube. So yes, there is a new danger in town.

There is if course also a guideline for social behaviours which is part of the terms of service. So here we have Phil basically violating:

• Nudity or sexual content - Shower video (2 of them), his vacation video with Leanna where even the title states something around "hot sex with panda" and shows porn covers. Sure his latest shower video is on KingOfHateVlogs but it's still under the control of the same person. He also spouts a lot of sexual innuendos in his videos.
  
  
• Harmful or dangerous content - You could argue he only shows what's on the market, some dangerous content in videogames. However, sometimes he embraces violence as something really cool and positive. I can't find it right now but some may remember his video where he puts on a sadistic show as the little kid from The Walking Dead stitched up her arm with a needle, which was extremely disgusting. Or do you remember his joy as Snake was electroshocked and Phil was all like "Yes put it on my balls, I love it, ack ack ack ack"?
  
  
• Hateful content - Do I really need to state how this guy hates everything and hates on everyone and never fails to hold himself back? Most toxic person alive. He also shows some racism from time to time (Chicki Chacka Wang Wang).
  
  
• Violent or graphic content - Technically speaking he should put on a warning when the game is 18+, at least in his description. He doesn't, nobody does that.
  
  
• Harassment and cyberbullying - He loves to talk bad about other people, even in the middle of his gameplay. With an attitude of "Person X is worthless, real talk. Also something something blue beard".
  
  
• Spam, misleading metadata and scams - HA HA HA HA HA HA ACK ACK ACK ACK. King of Videospam. King of Idiotic Tags. And he scams his viewerbase on a daily basis. He just made $1000 for a problem that lasted half a day. He actively wants money from his audience, explains a thousand times how they can send im money. And the reward for doing that is a shoutout, an animated gif or voting on a game he will play, which he will never start to begin with or even ragequit. Also Project 7, anyone? Not a scam at all?
  
  
• Copyright - Nothing he could do, but this time for real. Showing videogame footage, especially if it is story driven (which he plays a lot latelly) falls in a grey are, even right down to breaking the copyright. Sure there is this common rule which considers "transformative khantent" but Phil's RAW footage doesn't transform anything.
  
  
• Impersonation - Uuuuh Uuuuuh, look at me, I'm Person X, I'm book smart and know better than you, Uuuuh! - Followed by insults.
  
  
• Child endangerment - 11. Year. Old.

• Vulgar Language - Which is the essence of Phil's personality (the other 3 policies doesn't fit).

So from the big list I only ignored "Threats" and "Privacy" because the description doesn't fit. Nothing he could do. A good reason - if Curse is the problem - for not mentioning it is the potential of breaking some rules again, he wants to stay on good foot with his network and YouTube, these book smart assholes, especially now.

Additionally I want to state how some networks sometimes restructure themselfs because the old way isn't profitable anymore or they changed focus over time. You could say Machinima did this, even if Phil left for other reasons. The way of lazy Let's Plays isn't really something every network will support anymore.

This doesn't mean the problem is in fact Curse. But I won't rule them out.

Constructive double post, except you've already seen it. Phil talks about the problem but stays vague.

It has absolutely nothing to do with taxes, but a "party". He can't fix it, his audience can't fix it, he has no control over it. He's done nothing wrong. He doesn't know what will happen. And it's a developing situation. It's not "dooming". But things can get very uncertain.
He also made a list of things he finally had nothing to worry about and it's possible (just possible) he tried to not mention the problem in this list. If that's the case he's not in jeopardy of losing his YT or Twitch channel. It's not the bills, his bank account is fine. Nobody tries to "troll" and shutting down his khantent.

BUT it could affect him moneywise.

So... why won't he get more specific like usual? Too embarassing? Tells too much of his privat life? Would it unveil his scams? Would we know how he spend the donated money but shouldn't done it? Riddle me this, Batman: What's a developing negative financial situation you can't tell specifics of?

Tellin' ya, it's with Curse and due to the recent mass unprivating with the subsequent reporting in combination w/ the new MCN rules. It's not dooming because he knows he can still make youtube ad money on his own. But, he's more vulnerable to copyright strikes, and perhaps the ad CPM is worse straight from youtube (note: not the cut he , but the actual price each ad is worth).

Though I'd like to agree with you, this is pretty much a list of Phil's behaviour over the past decade. Yes, MCN's are shuffling their policies to accommodate Youtube and Twitch's fear of public embarrassment, but we won't know the extent or how serious they until we see them in action. Until then, it's really just DSP being DSP.

For the sake of conversation, I do wanna amend some of the entries on the list:

Nudity or Sexual Content: Whether he intended his "Incident" or not, he's been punished for it twice now, the second time getting him a very recent Community Strike on Youtube. He now officially has two Nudity or Sexual Content violations against him, both on Youtube.

Spam, Misleading metadata, and Scams: Again, he received a very recent suspension on his Youtube account for this. An official strike on whatever record an MCN would look at to judge these things.

Copyright: Once again, he did receive a Copyright Strike (I think this would be a bigger deal on Twitch. On Youtube it probably happens to everyone at least once).

(These last two may be nitpicking:

Threats: I don't now how I would find it, but back in the Connecticut days he was playing some shooter and said to someone that killed him, "I wanna cut his bwalls off!". While that was back when he had a bit more fire in his belly, I'm sure there's more examples like that for weens to dig up and report if they wanted, aside from just the "threatening the 11 year old girl" one.

Privacy: He had a mass of videos he had kept in his privated videos list made public. Aside from his own content, these included videos made personally made for individual Patreon donators. With both his own private content, and those involving others, he has lackadaisically gone about re-privating them.)

Something involving Kat, maybe? They both half-revealed she came out of a bad situation. I believe at one point Phil let it slip that Kat has her own debt she has to deal with. Washington state doesn't allow Common Law marriages, but maybe something else like that where Kat's financial history could effect for Phil.

Again, just some speculation to add to the conversation.

I can see where you're coming from. However, it's not unreasonable to believe that when YouTube finally does bring the hammer down and start disallowing networks on their site, the ones that were already limited would be the first ones on the chopping block, regardless if they'd done anything wrong; they'd be guilty by association.

You typically don't get warning of a potential lawsuit, people don't warn you about this they just file the suit and you get served.

My issue with this one though is, if Curse was doing this it probably would not just be DSP being dropped. If they warned DSP they probably warned others and I think the youtube drama world would have found out about this and we would see more discussion about this pending curse action.

I'm leaning more towards credit/loan issues. DSP has stated he can't get more credit, implying he has tried so he probably has quite a few hard inquiries over the past two years. It is possible the State taxes he owed got reported to credit agencies, and if this happened it is probably a huge negative mark. He has said in the past he used credit cards to pay his federal estimated tax payments but cannot anymore because he has no credit left, so his credit utilization must be really high. All these factors could really be hitting that credit score.

There might be a chance the CT loan could be called, but I'm putting that one at low risk. I think what could be more likely is credit cards could be getting their limits lowered. Yeah from the reading I did during the backtaxes saga the state and/or federal government can basically put a lien/warrant on your house as a safeguard if they want to, with or without notice if they think you're going to be unable to pay.

If that happens then DSPs credit score will go from bad to worse and then the banks will come calling for credit cards etc.
