• The last time DSP had an emergency that he "couldn't talk about" it was his state backtaxes saga
• Even though people guessed it was the IRS Phil vehemently denied this and said everyone was wrong
• It is still unknown why he wasn't able to talk about his taxes for so long

DSP pays Federal taxes as "estimated taxes" as he's said plenty of times. Turns out the due date is fairly soon:
