Once a game's been refused classification(RC), it's illegal to sell or advertise in Australia. The punishment and level of restriction varies depending on the state though. WA makes it illegal to possess.

Absolutely disgusting, please call crime stoppers, report it to the esafety Commissioner and most importantly, the cyber police.
In all seriousness though, even Rockstar and Steam kinda just forgot that game was banned in Aus and solid it/gave it away for a while. If you just do a quick search for it on the classification site, you'll find its MA15+ rating and nothing about it getting RC'd a year later.

we finally got R18 games approval and then instead of games getting rated MA15+ they get rated R18 and now games that should be R18 just get RC and shitcanned, so we get what we always have fuck all
