He has dropped nigger words before though, and said racially insensitive shit to get a rise out of people, strictly joking of course. He even pushed #pewdiepieisanigger on Twitter after that controversy.

Does he casually drop the nigger word often? No. Not even regularly, but he's said it outside of his nigger faggot memeing. Even if he's thoughtful about how he uses slurs and when to use them, he did use these words and his "moral code" seems to be as long as it's contextually appropriate or he's goofing around, which is how I think most of us here would use them too. I'm sure if people combed his old ass tweets, they'd find plenty of slurs to laugh over. He would get in little nonserious squabbles over neofeminism and racism back before he had an image to uphold. The tweet heard around the world, "shut up nigger lover" (see Ricegum's response or just google it), has no context today that I can clearly make out, but it's still up, and going off the replies it seems it was during one of these little squabbles where he got called a racist and replied...shut up nigger lover. Well yeah, that's what I mean. He uses edgy language but only in an ironic way according to him.

I won't debate about its usage here because intent and usage vary widely, but I do think many people here don't just say those words randomly for the sake of saying something edgy like he does. The same goes for 4chan.

Sometimes he just curses for the sake of it like a kid that just discovered the word would.

Say when he called Ricegum a "faggot" he made it clear it was ironic and wasn't actually using it in an offensive way as in using being gay as an insult as people assumed it was or as someone from 4chan would.

The moral code seems like a cope so he can say NIGGER FAGGOT while also trying to have a moral high ground over it.
