At this point in time, Dave would be lucky to get his partnership back. He doesn't have many options left in regards to streaming and he'll handicap himself no matter what he does. This is a genuine lose/lose situation for him and the walls are closing in on him by the day.

If he wasn't such a damn asshole all the time, there are any number of things he could do to make up for the loss of cheerssubsandtips. Most of them involve actually being interactive and doing fun-ish things with fans, rather than LIMBing all the time. But, because he's such a thin-skinned pussy that can't roll with the punches and laugh at himself (when not doing those very cherry picked begtrospectives...), that will more than likely never fuckin happen. Shit, I said it some time ago, but he would probably get a significant boost in viewers and influx of pud-pull bux if he did a Fallout 3/NV/4 playthrough where when he levels up, top tip in the next 5 minutes picks stats and perks. Interact, goof about how the viewers are going to saddle him with shit-tier perks, and resume playing.

But, this is Phil we're talking about. Nothin he could do.

something seems interesting about this that others might have missed.
phil was purposefully removed from the partnership program. but he wasn't banned. he's not an affiliate either, making his streams less interactive and more boring.
have any of you ever had a job where your boss wants to fire someone and instead of doing it outright. They cut your hours and make the conditions so shitty, you decide to quit.
maybe that's what's happening with Phil here.

yeah but Twitch isn't a normal job. by sheer virtue of Phil being there he makes the company money.

if i go down to the grocery store and start baggin' groceries i am not making the company money.

Breaching policy may not necessarily be ban worthy, they have a flagging system in place for that sort of thing. Phil was apart of a different agreement altogether.

Also twitch is far, far from a normal company, so you can't apply logic to them all the time.

Yeah but funny enough titty streamers like Amouranth can do what they want (whenever I logged in to stream recently I see Amouranth on the starting page wearing a freaking bikini) But Phil gets kicked. Looks like his bitch tits made Twitch staff sick and they didn't want to see him anymore.

What I can't overlook is him getting examined by someone at Twitch out of the blue like that after so many years of being ignored because he's small potatoes (no pun intended). If he's that irrelevant, Phil should be partnered to this day, continuing to get ignored.

It is still plausible that someone looked, found that he was violating his contract in a severe enough way, pulled the trigger like they're wont to do, and forgot all about him after that, but I don't think so. This is The Guy we're talking about. He doesn't come onto your radar and then just leave without a lasting impression.

I'll go ahead and posit that the report by PWDubz about being doxxed led to an investigation. The doxxing may not have been clear cut enough (for whatever reason) to lead to a ban, but it may be that in the course of the investigation, they found that he had been uploading his streams to YouTube in violation of his signed agreement for years, so they went the easier route and used that as the reason for termination of the partnership.

If they were looking for a way to kick him that he couldn't fight, I would say it's likely that in the future when he fucks up again, if he can't fight that charge either, he's toast. And even if it's same deal, where the lesser charge is optioned because it's easier, it's not like Phil will be safe next time. Refusing to wait 24 hours before uploading to YouTube is hardly his only transgression.

Yeah..I miss you.

And when he's not boring, it's for all the wrong reasons. What will always blow me away is how fucking easy it would have been to avoid this situation by being willing to budge on some things, like moving to a capture card as soon as everyone else was, getting a green screen, paying people for fan art that isn't abominable, doing an unboxing video without a loud fire alarm going off in the background, the list just goes on forever because that's how fucking dedicated Phil is to doing what he wants without compromise. That's how much he prefers to slowly sink in quicksand for over a decade so long as he doesn't change anything about himself. It's not even about beating the trolls/detractors, he has to win with EVERYONE. His parents, the friends he used to have, his Twitter followers, his fans, the platforms he has made a living from, etc. I guarantee you the only time he hasn't been combative is when faced with an employer who just fired him. That's it. He may not have stood up for himself when those two goons were getting ready to turn him into French Fries, but I'll bet he wasn't apologetic either. If he was, I would love for there to be footage, because that's something I don't think any detractor has ever seen him be.
The man could easily be a bigger streamer had he actually done things to improve his streams. His lack of interaction alone just makes them boring to watch. Well, unless people are talking about food then he's all ready to interact.

Likely the reason he's so scared to switch to youtube for streaming is because he sees that as his backup plan or failsafe and its where he'll make his final stand as an internet content creator. Once he's on youtube full-time, there's no where else to run. He knows his final stop on the internet is either an outright youtube ban or him just abandoning his dead channel. He'll cling to twitch as long as possible because at least while he's there he knows there's always somewhere else to flee to in case of an emergency.

Didn't he move on to attacking / doxxing detractors instead of DSP?
He's attempting to yeah, he seems to have gone a bit dark though, I think the faggot is probably struggling to dig up some dirt on people and he even contacted our resident doxxer Nigel because he has some certain dox info about a few particular detractor content creators that Superhound wanted.

All he's good for is shitty DMCA strike attempts.

If Phil were smart he wouldn't "switch" to youtube outright. AFAIK there's no exclusivity on Youtube. He could just start streaming to both, rake up some super chats and build up his awful brand on Youtube. Also he'd get his current Twitch audience to subscribe to Youtube "Don't miss out on new pasitivity khantent", maybe hire an editor to upload edited highlight reels on youtube, etc.

But he's too dedicated to being a total loser.

He usually has quiet pauses in between his dumb announcements. He'll be back.

Uh excuse me you nudnik. DSP is VERY experienced with editing. After all he built gaming PCs as a hobby didn't you know?! He's so good at it he's only ever needed to use three buttons in his entire career:

Start recording
Stop recording
Upload recording

So you better step up with those tips, after all hard work like that doesn't come cheap and he needs those tips right now, he really does.
