Potentially, but in his audio update tweet he mentions that he returns to his "regular streaming schedule", so I don't know if he would include the part of the tip goal that wasn't reached, he may end up doing doing that when he streams the game again in a few days time, but it seems to far away to be apart of the same goal, at that point he would have earned enough money to make a lot of it redundant (maybe).

If this tips goal was down the wire detrimental to Phil's stability, you'd think he'd be freaking out and making a desperate plea to please support and tip me as much as possible and he'll anxiously whale call constantly on twitter.

But he was never desperate for so much to begin with, tomorrow it's begging business as usual and that massive goal was never of grave importance.

Such a small thing but I'm sure if his chat was filled with faux messages about feeling sorry for him losing the house we'd get a big ol' pile of salt and retconning that he never said he needed $3k for his mortgage at all and that he can just about scrape by. Phil loves to claim he's poor right up until someone tells him he's so poor and should switch jobs and then he's 'a successful streamer with a legacy'

Also we have to take into account whatever his tips totals for the day are, marathon or not, Phil never includes the cents in his totals - if someone tips anything other than a round dollar amount he will round down. A $1.90 tip will be added as a dollar to his total so he's making even more than his end totals show.

What I love is that we know exactly why Phil brings that shit up to begin with, despite his typical reaction to inquiries about his soulmaid: to make it look like they have a relationship. Unfortunately for him, he's incompetent, and doesn't realize that such a separation between two people (sleeping in different rooms, him staying up late on Twitter, separate finances, two copies of every game, etc.) denotes a sham marriage. I mean when does Phil ever talk about them playing games TOGETHER? The closest they've ever gotten to that is when Phil would showcase what Khet did in Animal Crossing, which could easily just be him doing that without Khet knowing or caring. We have no evidence whatsoever that there is any actual bonding over video games between those two. Mostly, it's just tweets like the above, which could easily be bullshit. And even in those tweets, like I said, he doesn't talk about them doing some Halo co-op or something. I know Khet doesn't want to stream with him, but from the looks of things, she doesn't want to game with him off-camera either.

And I like how he says he can't wait for the rest of the game tomorrow, as if he has been doing anything other than stalling since he started playing. Phil really does live entirely in his own reality, which is fucking insane for someone who has been recording his life with a camera since 2008, and therefore the truth is easily displayed at the drop of a hat.
