I'm glad the cops are getting blamed for being incompetent, and Richard Pusey for being an inordinate scumbag.

High or not, the trucker ran into a situation that could happen to anyone. So often with accidents involving trucks, the narrative becomes "evil trucker intentionally murders people" when if he had been driving a car, it would have been "tragic accident."

Before I start, a bit of news has come through, and it seems that a off-duty doctor was able to tend to the female cop, after Pussy had his tirade agaiinst her. So yeah, thankfully, the last thing the female cop heard wasn't some beta screaming about his Porsche and how he wanted to eat sushi.

Now, there's no chance that she's reading this, but if she is, doc, you're awesome. I'd shout you a beer if it wasn't for the pubs being shut. And the several hundred km between us.

Now, with all the news being revealed, you might be wondering if Richard Pusey has been owned.

In that case, good news. He's been DISowned, after his mum rang a radio station to explain how disgusted she was. It was also revealed that Richie wanted to be a nurse, but the death of his brother turned him into a cunt. Er, sorry, into a mortgage broker.

Now, onto the truckie. Oh boy.

So, after spending one night in jail, he's already suffering 'depression and anxiety', because the others are being mean to him. It's almost like a dedicated facility for assholes and rapists is filled with assholes and rapists.

His lawyer's saying that Singh's suffering a previously undiagnosed mental illness, and was held involuntarily in hospital for the past 4 days.

Police have found an ice pipe in his truck, and a few other things from his house. Singh didn't apply for bail, and will be held until October. Presumably involuntarily.

He's been charged with 4 cases of culpable driving, which is up to 20 years per case.

Sounds like there have been a couple police searches of Melbourne properties (could be depots or homes of employees) of the trucking company involved (Connect Logistics). Seems unclear of how directly the company was involved in Singh's crime however.. not seeing anything in the articles as to whether he was an employee or a subcontractor/employee of a subcontractor.
Regardless, under chain of responsibility legislation, if Connect has not been conducting proper monitoring of fatigue management compliance, followups on reported incidents, proper health and safety policy including drug tests etc, the company and their employees from the health and safety manager up to the GM are likely to catch chargers.

It sounds like Singh was exclusively driving for a Connect contract with a poultry company. In theory people there could be held responsible if they were aware of him violating his hours or smoking meth.. I doubt they're going to charge some guy who loaded crates at the loading dock and saw him coming in over his hours or whatever, but if they were dispatching the trucks Connect provided them or had other intimate oversight of what Singh was doing, some more people might catch charges.

Take note, as this is what happens when you have an accident (or are even near an accident, like dick pussy) that involves the police, rather than an accident with a random person. You will be fucked, and assfucked, and everything they can charge you with will be charged, and then the media will smear you, and then the politicians will shit on you, and then random cop-fags and prosecutor's cabin boys will chime in to trash you on social media. All because some cops, who are AT BEST no better than any working class jerks, got injured or killed.

Dick Pussy may be a douchebag, but I'm confused what he's facing a 10 year minimum mandatory on. Is that really the charge for (in essence) fleeing from a police stop? Felony evasion (possibly just fleeing and eluding) is no joke, but 10 fuckin' years? You're probably looking at 3-5 in the US for felony evasion. The truck driver's some crimmigrant piece of shit, no doubt, but again - watch what happens in court. If this guy got in a pileup and killed some family, he'd have a 50/50 shot on going free depending on how bad he fucked up (DUI or high on drugs, speeding, etc.). Here, he's gonna eat it. I don't think his diversity points will get him out of this one.

Anyways, just something to keep in mind. It makes me sick when some bumbling state employees start getting labeled as "Heros" just because they bought it. 4 idiots trying to do a drug test on the side of a highway. Heros. The kind we deserve. Keeping the community safe! Just not from violent criminals and maniacs, or gangs, or pederasts, or usurious credit card companies.

In Australia, it's 25/40 kph (depending on state, Victoria is 40) past a emergency vehicles on the side of the road with lights flashing. It cuts down on traffic control, which is kept for accidents, etc.
Is that for all lanes of traffic or just the adjacent lane? Most US states have rules about slowing down 15-25 mph or moving over a lane from any emergency vehicles. Some states don't consider tow trucks emergency vehicles. Which drives me nuts, but I digress.
couldn't even reverse the truck he was driving and held up rush hour traffic for hours until the cops called up an Australian driver trainer to get the job done.
I'm need to look into this incident some more, but I can't help but notice the professional driver broke down the b-train. At least I assume the trainer did since they mentioned the driver couldn't work the 5th wheel release.

I believe it's the first one or two lanes going past the cars. So if a cop's on the left shoulder, you'd have to go slow approaching and passing them. If you're driving in the opposite direction, then it doesn't matter.

And also, for Pusey, it wouldn't normally be 10 years, but he has an extensive record, and certainly, filming video of you mocking dying people and posting it on Facebook, etc, is a sure fire way to get the police after you.

Police have raided Connect Logistics, the trucking company that had employed Singh, seizing documents and logbooks. This is the 4th or 5th such raid on the company, with their other offices also having been hit.

Interestingly, the raids are being done by both NSW and Vic police.

I wonder why? Their head office is in Melbourne.

The Victorian police will crucify this company, probably fairly, but they seem to enjoy doing that. Perhaps having the NSW police there is a good thing.

If they have to raid the company, rather than just demand and receive the requisite paperwork, that's pretty damning in and of itself.

Imagine being so fly-by-night you wind up handcuffed after one of your drivers is in a collision.

Fatal accidents happen all the time. In the US, at least, that doesn't majorly disrupt a company. Nobody wants one to happen in their company, but they should plan for it, and have counsel, logs, employee training records, drug tests, and indeed a copy of all their procedures for the above ready at a moment's notice.

The police should barely have to be involved outside of the crash scene. Sounds to me like they were constantly fucking up.

Another small update.
The truckie has spoken out, and boy, were we not expecting that.

Truck driver at the centre of nightmare crash that left four hero cops dead says he was trying to 'avoid a WITCH' when he swerved across a freeway and ploughed into them in the emergency lane

The truck driver at the centre of a horrific crash that left four police officers dead says he was avoiding a 'witch' when he swerved across several lanes of a Melbourne freeway and ploughed into them.

Mohinder Singh, 47, has been receiving psychiatric treatment at Melbourne Assessment Prison since the tragedy unfolded on the Eastern Freeway at Kew on April 22.
Singh is understood to have a pre-existing mental health issue, with a prison source telling the Herald Sun the father-of-two was suffering anxiety and panic attacks in custody.
'He is an unwell man,' the source said. 'He reported that he'd sighted a witch while he was driving and veered into the emergency lane.'
Two ice pipes were allegedly found in his truck, but the results of his blood tests are yet to be revealed.

Earlier this week, Singh said he was 'genuinely sorry and saddened' about the police officers' deaths through a statement released by his lawyer Steve Pica.
'Mr Singh is genuinely sorry and saddened that four people have lose their lives as a result of the collision,' the short statement from Mr Pica reads.
'He is acutely aware of the impact upon the families, friends and work colleagues of those that lost their lives.'
Singh didn't speak and had kept his head down when he faced the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday last week.

This case has given us some amazing names. Dick Pussy, now a guy called Pica is involved.
