So she's never referred to by that name in the actual show, only in the credits, and that's still enough to upset Christine. I know autistic people have problems dealing with change, but jesus fuck almighty, there has to be a limit. I wouldn't be surprised if changing his underwear was enough to cause sensory overload at this rate.

It's funny because even the staff calls her Derpy. Muffins is pretty much a placeholder name on the merch because political correctness. I'm surprised he even stayed for the credits and didn't comment on the episode more given its nature.
