I think I've only ever heard one saxophone playing bum play something other than noodling while attempting to busk in my lifetime, and Tom is not that person.

Oh. I was hoping Tommy was going to talk about trying to catch catfish with his bare hands. But instead it's just him sitting there going *frrrrnt frnnny frrnt* on his saxophone and hacking up phlegm.

His sperging about it being difficult to maintain rhythm while playing "melodies" on a single line instrument (quotes are justified, I feel, he couldn't carry a tune in a fucking bucket) is fucking ridiculous and hinges entirely on both his non-hate watchers being non-musicians.

Not gonna go full muso-rant here, but if you can't do what he's describing, then you're not just a bad musician, you're not even really a musician, just someone who knows how make instruments make noises. Like birds imitating car alarms or radio jingles, it's devoid of the relevant context.

This actually helped me place what I was thinking of when I see Tom; Skyrim's creepy as fuck Hagravens but with some heavy facial bloating.

If he can make it through a recognisable version of "Hot Cross Buns" or "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star", he might be in a position to have a go at some grown-up songs. Unfortunately, though, the only thing Tom plays well is the victim.
