I know, I was being hyperbolic, but I do think that Chris works his way up from gross to grosser after being suppressed. He uses the excuse of "I was only opening myself up" to justify his lack of boundaries. This is not a new thing, he's just doing it now on a larger scale and with men, no less. I wonder if his new incarnation will be holding hands or back/shoulder rubbing.
To be fair to Silverman, a warning message send directly to their phone would have probably been enough for anyone else. Most people check their phones every 4 minutes, but Chris is claiming he was "Very Unable" to look at his phone at the time, withother explaining why or how was Silverman supposed to know.

No, that's definitely not an acceptable advance warning for behavior that'll get you kicked out of a convention.
They wanted Chris gone, like a lot of people do. Justin should just admit and move on. He did have good reason to want him gone.
