8/24 update: Judgment is Case Dismissed
Looks like The Finachu Saga has gotten ramped up.
Don't worry about that, someone besides Chris will take care of it, they always do.
Wow, that was deep!
You just put every argument about Chris to rest
I wonder if the return of Sonichu signaled that Chris does not feel that connected to society any longer, like through his "female friends" at those card games.
Looks like I'm getting a nice birthday present
Wonder if that's for his car. That company does auto loans.
Wow, some of their car loans are like 25%
Nice find. The case info says it was filed earlier this month. At least he has a bit of extra money from Patreon coming in now to help cover this, though if the stress of the case gets to him, it could torpedo the comic again.
Ain't that the truth.
So which one of you are going to build another $5000 care package this time?
Will @Null save OPL once more?
Certainly leave us with more questions that will never be answered for a long while!
Time to mortgage those LEGOs.
Of course, they would have to factor in the value of said Legos. I wonder how much the value of something decreases after you've shoved it up your butt at least once.
This is the True and Honest Christine Weston Chandler's anus. If the totem sold for $1500 someone will buy his ass legos above market value.
or maybe some autist from /v/ will buy his garbage again
What can they do? Reposses cat shit covered toys?
So, realistically speaking, what's can actually happen here? If it is for the car, as speculated, can they repossess it?
Is it one of those situations where the party owed money will essentially make all the scary noises and send all the threatening letters, but when push comes to shove they have no real agency? They'll work out some sort of payment plan, etc.
I am praying for the day they take his car and he is forced to use a bicycle.
In Chris's defense nutritious organic bananas cost a lot. So do toys and Vidya. Of course he's skipped out on paying a debt.
"Mariner Financial" is an appropriate name regarding a whale like Chris, and his rampant monthly tugboat welfare abuse.
I'd imagine if it's gotten this far the car was already repossessed. If a finance company takes a car back they can still sue or put the debtor in collections if the amount they sell the car for doesn't cover the original loan.
They offer interest rates as high as 36% APR. That's not a lot, that's fucking exorbitant for a personal loan. No wonder Chris isn't paying his debts to them.
