7/17 - Phil Spotted at Downtown Portland OR Library by Kiwi Agent -

I went to downtown Portland today to do some shopping and walking around. During my trip I stopped by the Multnomah County Library to see what they had for programming books and music CDs. As I was walking around on the second floor I noticed a heavily tattooed homeless person sitting at one of the library computers. I immediately recognized his hairstyle and the tattoos on his arms and came to the realization that it was none other than our dear friend Phil.

I sat near the back of the room among the tables in order to figure out how to catch him on my phone camera. for my first attempt, I tried to walk by him and take a still picture:

I understand that this photo is shitty. I took it while walking and while my hand was moving because I wanted to avoid suspicion. But did get close enough to reconfirm that the tattoos were his.

Not satisfied with the first shitty pic, I circled back around the room and set my camera into video mode. I then recorded myself walking by the row of computers in order to catch him on film. The video itself is shitty and not worth posting, but I managed to get a clearer pic of his side-profile.

I didn't want to keep pressing my luck, so after this I immediately left the library and went away, but yeah. That's my encounter with Phil: him hanging out in the Downtown Library.

Well done on being brave enough to circle around a second time to get a video of him. Out of all the things Kiwis do that bothers Phil, it seems like taking photos of him while he's out in the wild upsets him the most.

I always imagined it'd be quite easy to find Phil in public if you were interested in finding him. He spends so much time online in libraries that if you visit every library in town during the day time he's likely to be in one of them.

It could possibly be because our words are getting to him about how shittastic his tats are. Or maybe because he's wasting so much of his money he's been forced to buy more cheap solutions since his labelled shit fell apart due to mismanagement and rot.

Clothes tend to fall apart pretty quickly if they get covered in sweat n shit and never washed regardless of quality.
