How the hell does he have a $400 phone bill? I thought he leeched off free wifi wherever he went. Even with data charges, from what I can see Verizon charges $10/GB over the allowance. I still have my unlimited data plan from 5 years ago, and it's my primary source of internet. I use it to download pretty much everything; it is used pretty much non-stop. On average I use about 35-40 GB a month. What is he doing that is using so much data?
EDIT: Also, noticed that he declared this a "Life Event". My life events are "Got married", "Passed senior recital" "Graduated from College", "Became salaried", "Became a father", but I guess "Defaulted on my Verizon wireless bills" is good too.

No, SSDI payments cannot be garnished by collectors.
Fun fact: Chris weens have been trying to get Chris's payments reduced for years. I'm sure his file now has a tag saying he's the target of some misguided campaign to discontinue payments and reports should be ignored.

You gotta be joking, Phil. Not like his credit was probably any good to begin with, but it's another advantage that Chris has over ADF.

I think he's trying to be sarcastic at our expense.
I doubt his monthly payment is significantly larger than Chris's. He received a lump sum in back-payments, but he's burning through that. Scuttling his own ship.

We got a hint here today: perhaps, in addition to crazy data usage, he also has lots of ride-on fees like "insurance" on his phone. Some people like to pay a little extra each month to be able to replace their phone if something stupid happens to it (which, to be fair, is everything in Phil's life). There's also "Edge" plans, where you pay even MORE extra per month for the ability to upgrade your phone more often than once per year. And, although this is only speculation, I would not be shocked to find out Phil has added services like data tethering and international texting, even if he never uses them. Because he's stupid.
It's rather difficult for a normal person buying what they need to spend $200 a month on a single cell phone. Phil, however, is not normal and is famous for spending money on stuff he doesn't need at the expense of stuff he does need. I could see his bill hitting $200/month, and if so being just one month behind would bring him to $400.
It makes sense, but only when you factor in that he's an idiot.
So he'll just get another phone, or...?

With even worse credit he probably will get into a hilarious loop of getting pre pay smart phones and stop paying, and sperg the phone into a wall then do it again next month.
