To shed some light on it:
"Summer At Gamestop" is about people sharing their stories in videos or whatever about the people who they play video games with. Each week has a different theme. Last week was about playing games with strangers. This week is about playing games with people you're in love with.
Chris assumes nobody is going to tell the truth because nobody who likes video games could possibly be in love with other people who play video games with them, and demands that a full background check is run on every couple who enters to make sure they are real people, really met in the way they claim they did, and that one of them actually has romantic feelings.
Chris also believes that it's limited to the idea of meeting someone online and then falling in love with them.

And I guess he thinks that having unclaimed prizes is some sort of significant curse...?

It's not complicated chris feels cheated that others were able to find true love through gaming and he was not. If he can't have happiness this way no one should. Chris is a bitter jealous man who believes his happiness should come before all others. This is just him lashing out at that.

Or it could have something to do with trolls and weens. Not sure.

It's likely a bit of both. Chris has had a comical number of catfish relationships because of his gullibility/inability to stand his ground regarding anything that may or may not have a vagina. Because he's autistic, he'll assume everyone else's experiences reflect his, and say that all relationships that begin online are likely based on lies. His bitterness, regret, and inability to find where he went wrong all compound in this weirdly smug rant on how everyone on the internet is a pathological liar.
