The reunion with Mom and Dale I feel is running into some bumps and potholes.

I don't think it is seriously sinking in about my need to have surgery in the near future. Yes, I look to them relatively intact (as in not wrecked by drug and alcohol addiction or worse) - but problems with regards to my own capacity to even take care of myself remain a thing on top of the poverty I am in as a transgender woman.

TBH - I am happy I am here in Philadelphia to see them one more time - but somebody has to tell them that I need to start seeing a surgery happen soon or I can not see a 31st birthday happening for me in 2016.

I am on borrowed time. And the best I can do in my capacity is to get tattooed monthly and even then now that is starting to feel like it is not enough anymore.
