His planned "coverage" of the event notably excludes the conference held on Tuesday for Nintendo.

On May 21st, Phil received an email from Twitch about attending this year's E3

This was of course a mass email sent to Twitch streamers, not addressed to Phil personally. @actually and @Comma point this out here

Edit: In case there's any doubt Phil got a form letter: https://twitter.com/SeanMurrayNJ/status/1130806849492725760

So this dood with 15 followers and a total of 1040 views got a super duper extra special E3 invitation from Twitch too? Yeah, that's some stunning VIP treatment you got there, DSP...

While streaming on May 25th, Phil disparaged those who "react" live to such events
(Via Comma's post here)

"It doesn't add anything, it's cheap, it's incredibly uninspired, it's 'easy-mode' stuff to put out, it's - it's - fluff content creation."

His first updated schedule after announcing his coverage stated that he'd be "IN MY STREAM CHAT to watch the following press conference". This is missing from the proceeding schedule update posted up top.

Following his desperate plea for money on June 5th -

- Phil is hopeful that the three days dedicated to E3 will "naturally" lead to a windfall of Twitch subscribers. From @flatsoda's June 6th transcription here: "I kind of feel, that naturally we're going to get some more subscribers over the course of my E3 coverage anyway!"

A "FULL SCHEDULE UPDATE of game releases for the year" is expected to come with the conference coverage. But with his "Behind-The-Scenes" financial worries, Phil has repeated that he won't be able to afford new releases and consoles. From just earlier today, Comma recorded Phil soliciting "game donations to make things easier": "Now, I'd love to cover all of those games, but I don't know if I'll be able to afford all of those games. Being very honest with all of you." "If anyone is interested in donating games for me to play, please by all means contact me..."

So from my understanding, he will just be in his stream chat but will host it?
Then he want's to do a recap on camera after? That kinda defeats the fun in that. They(fans/viewers) want it raw, not see your pretentious typing behavior in your chat.

Like, see your actual reactions and not some scripted nonsense you put in your head that is just over dramatic soapbox.

Why is he skipping Nintendo’s conference? Even if he doesn’t like Nintendo, he could do a reaction making fun of them and people would tune into it to see the salt. Who is going to care about some idiot streaming FFIX during the Direct?

He does not believe showcases are worthy of coverage and are not real conferences as there's not a dude on a stage live covering it. Its why he didn't cover EA's showcase and didn't cover Square Enix's that one time. While "covering" the E3 conferences, he complains a lot about how they should just show the games and go in depth with them, around 10 - 15 each with actual gameplay. This is pretty funny if anyones ever seen an E3 Showcase before. He's avoiding exactly what he wants out of a conference because he doesn't believe its "real" whatever that means in DSP language. Apparently we just all mass hallucinate when we watch the Nintendo Directs.

Phil is the poster-child of "my opinion is contrarian and opposed to the common attitude, therefore I am smarter than the average man" though his opinion on games doesn't mean shit because unless it holds his hand or has a slight difficulty curve, that's the deciding factor for what is a good game to him. Also can't wait for him to huff and puff about how bad the games industry is, how they don't understand the market, what is or isn't good for gaming, the willful naivety of an almost-forty white atrophied ape really is something.

Yeah. I'll just set them on fire. Piece of cake.

First time Phil was suffering from monetary issues, he secretly flew his mail order girlfriend back and forth to visit her before moving her into his home. The second time he pulled this off, he took her on a cross country flight to CT and married her.

And now he just so happens to be suffering from more monetary issues. And how can you help him? Give him money for free while he does nothing but watch E3 and give little to no commentary at best, and completely shitty commentary at worst. This is a repeating cycle, one that I'm surprised his fans never caught onto.

Yeah but he will also be in his chat during the conferences reacting to stuff live which is different then what all those hack sellouts do because....its in print?
oh, well in that case its perfectly normal and acceptable. hell, he'll probably make millions of dollars and not bore his audience at all. leave it to business master dsp to think up the best way to handle something during a financial crisis.

Hell he has had problems way before that. I don't think Phil has not been in a "financial crisis" since sometime in 2016? The last time he was good was around the Homefront review and then he let everything go to shit.

Phil started shamelessly begging before he moved to Renton. Watch early 2014 videos around his last days in CT, he's crying about needing money in every video.

Phil first tried his now overused taxes excuse in 2015.
