Haven't seen this one before, but is anyone else a fan of Ace Attorney? It's my favorite game series and I'd like to discuss it with other people who like the series.

Yeah, AAI2 is a great entry in the series. I'm glad Ace Attorney 6 is making its way westward, especially since DGS isn't getting a release here.
I played the first Ace Attorney a while ago, right now playing Justice For All. Awesome games so far!
I've played all of them except for the crossover and DD.

I recently decided to test exactly how much I'm actually learning in my Spanish classes by playing the Spanish translation of the first AA. I'm basically able to understand most of it so yay I guess. To be fair I already know what happens so it's not that hard to work out what things mean from context.

I have a hard time picking favorites but my top 3 consists of the first game, T&T, and AAI2.
Also this might be old news to some of you but both Nick and Apollo are playable in AA6. I hope they tie up some of the loose ends from AJ but I somehow doubt they will.

What's there not to like about Edgeworth? He's one of the best characters.

PLAA is not a fan giving to AA fans. They mostly just jerk Layton off as solving everything, with Phoenix just sitting in the background like a derp. The third case, The Golden Court, is actually one of the best cases in all of AA though. It manages to highlight Phoenix's character because Layton is the victim in the case, so he's not there. DD is good, but its writing style is a bit different. Some people like it, some people don't. I think it's a pretty good one.
I'm on case 4 of AAI2 and it is giving me all the feels in the world for Edgey

I'm a big fan of the AA series so its great to see a thread for it. I'm currently in the last third or fourth of PLvPW and since I've never played a Professor Layton game, I found myself gravitating more towards Phoenix and Maya's parts (I really didn't find Layton to be that interesting of a character). I liked the idea of multiple witnesses and Espella is a likable character.
As for favorite character, I'd go with Dick Gumshoe. Though Bobby Fulbright was a great substitute (yes, I know what happened to him.)

Oh have fun in the last trial then. Phoenix does jack shit while Layton solves the entire mystery.
That's what I figured. I'll play through it regardless since I want to know how the story ends.

My big problem with the Layton crossover was just how slanted it was in favor of Layton. The court room stuff was always the best part while most of the puzzles seemed tacked on even though there were way more of them.
