I watched most of the Kimba video myself, my ultimate reaction was "Its just cartoons dood". Yes, its silly how a 30+ year old controversy was necromanced by youtubers (who likely never watched Kimba), but there comes a point where you have to look at the time dedicated to arguing over something as silly as a cartoon...nevermind that for the 3 hour run time you could watch The Lion King, some of Kimba, and draw your own conclusions.

Not that it matters, they and all other animated cats are clearly rip-offs of Krazy Kat.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that the clips he takes from the react video will work well in his YMS review. But oh boy, is it difficult to listen to unfiltered Adam hoot and holler at these dumb college kids for liking the new Lion King movie. At least once or twice he has an, "Uh, acthually---!" moment over different people saying that the movie isn't animated but live-action (even though it technically is animated, just with realistic CGI effects).

Thats ultimately another case where I'd suggest someone to watch the source material instead, and save a few hours of their time.

Oh I beg to differ threefold, mate. His nasally voice is grating, he's about as humorous as a guy whose special talent is making himself vomit can be and he bloated his vid like he's an inflation fetishist so the information, most of it either willfully misrepresenting details or ignoring the basis of copyright infringement entirely, is stuck between rambles of how a story over something like seventy years old now is kooky and "problematic" by another word.

Personally it's not a big deal since Japan has stolen tons of stuff from American movies, too. Even Ghost in the Shell has a scene practically ripped right from Blade Runner if I recall (the robot interrogation about memories I think). It's not exactly a hill to die on either way, but the idea bugs me that people praise or even tolerate this Akira baby of a malformed "review" of either this old ass anime or the controversy.

Background is better spent with Running Shine vids or something with actual wit to it and a voice over that doesn't sound like a guy who just jabbed his prostate to the back of his throat.

The run time in itself isn't a problem, by that logic you couldn't talk about any music on a deep level. Not to mention technically you could argue that with how long Kimba is and all the crap he's referencing that he's still way shorter than reading the source material. I agree the Kimba video's very bloated, one easy cut I can think of off the top of my head is how long the Kimba clip shows are, but the issue's how he's using that time, not the fact it's long in itself.

On today's episode of Your Film is a Subpar Experience, Adum mentions he never talked about Nathan For You because too many people might hear about it from him, and therefore spread knowledge of the show too far to where it wouldn't work anymore. Nathan For You is a prank show where he goes around and "helps" businesses by having them do bizarre publicity stunts and the like, and somehow Adum believes he is more influential than Comedy Central's entire marketing team.

This is despite a Borat sequel successfully being filmed in 2020.

anyway, that aside, Nathan For You sounds like something I'd love from how Adum talked about it, so I read some stuff and looked at Nathan Fielder's Wikipedia page and:
