I like how he shows us Anita (and Roger) in the original and the 1996 remake at the start.
Then later down the line, he brings up the idea of how Cruella (the movie) is in an alternate universe, this is then followed up by the ending scene where Roger and Anita get Pongo and Perdita.
Huh, I think that alternate universe thing is more than just a theory but that might just be me.

Making an original film about black people didn’t go over well (princess and the frog) so now Disney just rubs shoe polish on their other characters faces to get their woke points.
ETA: Princess and the Frog did not make the box office return they hoped for, and it generated some mild controversy when black parents took their daughters to see a black princess and she was a slimy green frog for the majority of the film. Disney took that as cue to scrap their traditional animation department and lean into the Pixar look, and they also took it to mean black people wouldn’t consume films targeted towards them. Being black is cool now so Soul is about a black man, but similarly he spends a large portion of the time as a blue blob.
