Today we lost a damn fine actor, best known for his roles as Batman and the the Mayor of Quahog

Sucks to lose Batman but then again, he was at an old age (though leukemia is what did him in). Least we can do is pay respects.

Aside from being THE Batman and a mayor in a cartoon I don't watch anymore, he did voice a small role in an unreleased Disney short that is worth watching! They gave him the best part!

EDIT: Did I mention this short was up for an Oscar too?

If there's any upside to his passing, it's that we'll at least hear him one last time in that sequel to Return of the Caped Crusaders.

Actually Adam West was just flat out the best Batman ever.

The Joker attracted better actors, arguably, like Heath Ledger. But somehow, Batman himself got shitty actors, mainly.

He suited Batman from the 50's and 60's until Neal Adams helped change the Batman mythos.

I wish West got a chance to do a bit of Modern Gritty Batman before he passed. I know the PBS documentary has a touch of it but I would have killed to see a full movie/series with Old Geezer Batman.
