'Tech' prefix on A&H?

  • Yeah, that'd be cool

  • No, the current prefixes are fine

  • Good end-goal, different execution (elaborate below)

Tech has an undeniably large presense on Kiwi Farms. Our featured thread, as of writing this, is about Gab.ai, a tech company.

I feel there should be some form of representation for those who want to talk about tech and tech-related topics, but without the complexity and long-windedness of a seperate subforum. The best and simplest way we can achieve this is by providing a 'tech' prefix to Articles & Happenings.

'Science' is way too broad a brush to describe topics like Twitter, Facebook, or Snapchat, and therefore it would not really work. Same with 'Culture' to an extent.

Companies like Google are part of science, but they are also part of modern culture, and a 'Tech' prefix would cut out the middleman and make things a bit more organized in that regard.

Excuse me if this suggestion is dumb or petty, but discussion about this should at least be brought up, even if there are no palpable results by the end of it.
