I can understand if you're not a fan of the show or anything like that, but I had to share the news about this just so I could geek out over this with people. Cause I love the hell out of this show!

I haven't really seen much of it on tumblr save for gifsets, so I haven't had it ruined for me. Guess I lucked out there.

If I hated anything just because of an awful fandom I wouldn't like anything at all anymore. Best to just keep to yourself and try not to let them bother you.

Anyway, this is amazing news! If anything, Adventure Time's gotten much, much better since its already strong beginning. Given some of the themes they've been working on lately I'd be very excited to see what a movie would bring.

I dont think Tumblr ruined it. I dont think anything ruined it besides shitty writing at times. I get you have to make cartoons to appeal to both young and adult audiences. Your more likely to watch a show if you and your kid like it but the shit these shows breed is just embarrassing. Like the shipping, people literally threatening to kill another person for not liking a ship. Theres enjoying a kids show and making it your whole life. These people have made it their whole life.

Which sucks because when this movie comes I know the giant chunk of people going see it are those types of fans along with the little kids they are marketing too.
